The Young Wolf he only went to prison for about 8-10 months and he then took up some counseling to learn from right and wrong. It was said he also took the girl to get an abortion because so she wouldn’t deal with having a baby at such a young age.

yeah I feel like they should have taken more time to properly narrate this. the music and his narration don’t change pace or shift tone the whole way through. people need cues to understand when something that was just said was important, a shift in subject occurred, or a specific emotion is trying to be conveyed. when we speak, the majority of information is communicated through nonverbal cues. it’s like listening to a text to voice auto reader with no punctuation. It was difficult for my ADHD brain to keep up, but i think even some neurotypical people had a hard time. btw, if they read this, I hope they take it for the honest feedback that it is, I’m not trying to be rude or condescending.

You ask this in a world where Brock Turner served three months for sexual assault? Most rapists don't spend a day behind bars for sexual assault. It's so bad that I was actively shocked when he was sentenced at all. But I did look it up... She was too scared to testify. The wouldn't have much of a case with Caroline unwilling to testify, so a plea deal was cut with the Wests, that if they pleaded guilty, they would only be given the fine. Real life experience: My own assailant raped and sexually assaulted somewhere between six and ten women from 2010 to 2017. Three of us filed police reports that were never followed through on. Last year, he was arrested and sent to prison for... assault and unlawful imprisonment. He held a girl against her will and beat the shit out of her. She got free after three days and, with a torn ACL and sprained ankle (courtesy of him) walked barefoot, through four feet of snow, several miles to the police. He's probably going to be getting out in 2022, but to my knowledge, could get out early on good behavior. They couldn't get charges of rape or kidnapping to stick. But she had two black eyes, a busted lip, a torn ACL, a sprained ankle that had swelled up immensely, a concussion, and bruises all over her body, so that combined with the fact she had walked barefoot through all snow in the middle of the night, it was obvious someone had beaten the shit out of her. So... yeah. Rape isn't taken seriously by law enforcement.

THE GAMER #1 You got to understand that Fred sustained two head traumas over the course of his childhood. The events are believed to have resulted in his violent and depraved behavior. Damage to the frontal lobe is implicated in aggressive behavior and unstable moods. It is worth noting that because of this, Fred couldn’t be held accountable for his actions like the way we are held accountable for ours. The mere fact that a mentally handicapped man’s behavior was unfettered by moral and societal confines should prompt you to feel sorry for such a person. Otherwise, you in your full mentality are objectifying someone who unquestionably but due to subsequent head trauma objectified his daughters and anyone else he got his filthy hands on.

If you have ever been to Cromwell street, the most disturbing aspect is how this could happen so close to the City centre, within walking distance. The houses were so close together and it's just unthinkable all of this went on for 20-30 years without detection. So many missed opportunities by the authorities. In the end it was one determined police officer who tried everything to find Heather and came up blank, that pushed for a warrant to be executed. They even said to Fred "If you can show where she is, or bring Heather to us alive and well we'll leave you in peace." Of course, they couldn't, and the rest is history.

My dad was working as a builder on a house in Cromwell Street in literally just down the road and saw the authorities digging up the bodies from the backyard.. Another family friend was their neighbour and she told me about what it was like living across from them.. Absolutely the worst case in the UK on par with Ian Brady and Myra Hindley

I remembered reading this in Anne Marie's perspective on an Australian magazine my father brought home from his work overseas more than 10 years ago. There was a photo of the vacant lot where the House of Horrors once stood and the Wests' mugshots and some of their victims' old photos. That article really scared, and at the same time, intrigued me to know more about it.

My husband and I are 11 years apart in age (he’s older). We joke around that he was at my 6th grade graduation picking me off the line. But we’ve been together for over 20 years now, so I’m totally fine with it. It really isn’t a “huge” age gap once you hit a certain age...probably different with the Wests though because it seems as though they were a both a little touched in the head and he really did sound like he picked her up right off the school bus. So yah, for them, they weren’t the average couple with an age difference by any means.

Nicholas Forlong we have free will, God is always there working in our lives, but if you choose not to be with God then thats your choice. Evil happens because there is sin. Thats why the worst things happen. God absolutely could stop them but if he continually forced his way into things we would never have free will. Same way theres hell, its God giving those who dont believe in him exactly what they want

It's pronounced HERRER-FORD-SHIRE :-) And it was actually Charmane that they found at 25 Midland street, his ex wife was found out in the fields by where he grew up. Oh, and he called his son (not his mum) to go to the papers once he was collared - his mum died in '68.
