I’ll never understand how serial killers can tolerate the smell of rotting flesh and how they never get paranoid about the other people smelling it from the other apartments.

This is why I have so much respect for people who come out stronger after facing prejudice and injustice. It's quite easy to turn to the dark side when society has been treating you so badly your entire life, so I applaud those who have learnt to move past their trauma and been strong enough to pity the closed-minded members of society who have oppressed them for so long. That in itself is a greater achievement than most people will ever achieve. All prejudice survivors deserve medals

  • @cautionTosser

fun fact: Nielsen was sort of the head of the tenants association in that house and I think he was the one that actually called for the maintenance to be done. He KNEW someone would be fishing around in there and still didn't bother to clean it up ahead of time. He was another (like Dahmer) that seemed to want to get caught by his shear sloppiness. And he admitted everything upon being caught. EDIT: Just got to 13:05 . Well done mentioning this fact. It often gets overlooked, but I think it's very important in terms of his psyche.

For his very fist victim, the tie Nilsen used to strangle him was on the floor, next to their discarded clothing from the night before, not in a drawer. Nielsen may have been off his bonnet, but no man who wears ties keeps them in a chest of drawers. Not unless he lives with his gran.
