The fact that Ted Bundy gave advice on how to catch him, and how a lot of killers are good at providing insight into how police should act to find other killers, it’s such a difficult thing to understand. It’s like when people say “a billion dollars” and I understand that that is a million dollars, one thousand times over, but to even try to conceptualize it feels impossible. For people to speak to these monsters and have conversations with them, it’s so unfathomably fathomable. Ed Kemper has been very helpful in his time incarcerated. I hope they never let him spend another second free. The potential of humanity, both good and bad, is so difficult to understand

Samuel Little has 60 confirmed victims & they’re still linking him to victims. Two years ago they discovered he murdered the girlfriend of a family friend in my city after releasing some of his drawings. The FBI doesn’t doubt his number 93 (I think he said) they just can’t identify many of the women. Little purposely targeted women “who would not be missed” & unfortunately he was right because his drawings are quite detailed & they’ve released some of his confessions but only a few have been identified. Sad to think about the ones who never will. He was truly the worst he told the FBI all his victims are his friends & if they could talk today they would thank him for what he did & tell him they loved him. He also killed from 1970-2005 but wasn’t caught until 2012.

Yeah Ridgway admitted to 71 as well. But it's hard to tell with them. Some like to inflate their numbers or claim murders they didn't commit just to mess with the police. Others deny their crimes forever. Others like to brag about it and make sure everyone knows exactly why murders they committed.

Fun Fact: During Ridgeway’s trial, all of the victims family wished him death and suffering. Throughout this, he sat stone faced. One man came up to the stand, the father of a victim, and he said the unthinkable. He forgave Gary Ridgeway. Upon hearing this, Ridgeway broke down in tears and became overcome with emotion. The power of forgiveness is stronger than anything else

For _that_ single moment, Gary may have been repentant. But serial killers are usually psychopaths/sociopaths and do not feel empathy in the normal fashion. Ridgeway's tears mean nothing. Who's the worst of them all, you ask? Here's the way I look at it... Dahmer was the most monstrous; Bundy the most fascinating; Ed Gein the most disturbing; Jack the Ripper the most enduring; Kemper the most perplexing; Berkowitz the most unremarkable; Gacy the most evil; Israel Keyes the most unprecedented; and Gary Ridgeway the most careful. But the worst of the worst, hands down, has got to be H. H. Holmes. Because his crime spree occurred during the late 19th-early 20th centuries and state authorities can't officially confirm nowadays what his body count actually was, he's often excluded from the debate. However, if we go by what we know instead of what we can prove in a court of law, H. H. Holmes was responsible for the murders of a mindboggling 303 people while only living to be 34 years old when authorities caught and hanged him. There's no one in modern times who even comes close to H. H. Holmes. His body count is simply unfathomable.

look up Pedro Lopez the monster of the andes and Luis Garavito the beast. both claim 300+ victims, Lopez convicted of over 100 and Garavito with over 200. Lopez was released in the 90s and whereabouts unknown, Garavito is up for parole in 2023. Most of HH Holmes infamy is said to be legend and myth with contemporary researches chalking him up to a killer for sure but mostly a con man.

Pedro Lopez is a Colombian and Ecuadorian serial killer who killed over 300 young girls in the 1970s before being caught. He was imprisoned in Ecuador for 16 years (the maximum prison sentence allowed in that country at the time) and then sent to an asylum in Colombia in 1994. Lopez was then declared sane in 1998 and released subject to conditions. Lopez then broke those conditions and fled. He is still at large to this day
