This is the Virtuosos talent show, takes place in Budapest. Dimash and Placido Domingo are also judges along with the rest of the people you saw. But Placido asked Dimash to sing with him, so another dream come true for Dimash. Being emotional is fine, we are all human after all. His newest live release Omir makes me tear up.

Thank you Viking.. I debated for 2 hours before watching, I too cried... remembering My Father gone 42 years now.. Was raised listening to the great classics and Dad had a beautiful Tenor Voice, born in 1906 in Dublin.. he and Mom always loved the classics and went to theatres all the time before we children arrived. This was a most beautiful rendition and stirred those emotions to overflow.. Tears are not weakness, Viking, they show many strengths, and are a gift of the God's. A single tear can express more emotions than a thousand words.. Love as always from me here in UK

This was a dream come true for Dimash. He shared that at the age of 5, he had a VHS of a concert by Maestro Domingo and he dreamed of meeting and working with him from that time. I am sure Dimash appreciated the opportunity to support young classical artists at the invitation of Maestro Domingo for the Virtuoso competition. This is beautiful. We will be here to support Dimash as he reaches for his dreams.

Music IS emotion, always! Apparently Dimash learned this the day before, & they only had one rehearsal before performing it. This was at the Virtuosos competition in December, for young people in the classics. Placido Domingo was head juror, & when meeting Dimash, asked him to be on the jury too, along with Placido JR. & Hauser, among others totaling 7 jurors.

Beautifully sung, with great orchestration to raise it even higher..one of my all time operatic favourites...never fails to bring out the tears.I heard a version one sunday evening a few years ago, I had been working in the garden, and two people had been practising music in a building nearby, when suddenly they began the Pearl Fishers chorus, and played it pefectly!!. It rooted me to the spot and had me crying, when it finished, l clapped like mad, just me alone, and someone shouted ' thank you' ..I had my own personal show that night, it was perfect..

Unbelievably excellent performance by both maestros. I never thought Dimash has it in him to sing such warm, brilliant lower tones and Maesteo Domingo being still able to pinpoint every note without hesitation. I would like to call this one of the greatest moments of classic music.

What you see are the other judges, but the finalists and winners of the contest were also there. Plácido Domingo met Dimash for the first time and approached him full of enthusiasm and asked him to sing a duet together. What I loved is Dimash didn't try to overpower Placido. He respected the older man's years of experience.

Fueron jueces en el Show Virtuosos, donde buscan talento joven en musica clasica, este año fue en Budapest. Nuestro amado Príncipe Kazajo siempre tan excelente ser humano, se adaptó perfecto con Plácido nunca opacó a Plácido, pues sabemos que su rango es más alto, pero Dimash respeta demasiado al Maestro Plácido Domingo. Sabes que Dimash dijo que su sueño de niño se hizo realidad en Budapest pues Dimash a los 5 años de edad veía en una casetera un video de Plácido Domingo y que por él estaba en la música y su sueño fue hacer alguna vez un dueto con él y lo logró.
