Dimash a dit dans une interview "Oui, je suis un ténor...un simple ténor". Il sait chanter comme un bariton, mais sa voix "naturelle" est TENOR.

How old was the interview, I really thought as his voice matured he fell into the baritone or high baritone range. Glad to know where he is given he can do base to saprano

Since his range is of 6 - 7 plus whistle, he sings in what is needed for the song. Cheers ps. When Dimash met Plácido Domingo in Budapest he told him that when he was 5 years old he saw a concert of his on a VHS, that he decided to dedicate himself to music for him. Plácido Domingo proposed doing a duet and explained that he can no longer sing as a tenor. He just turned 83 years old. Dimash was able to realize his childhood dream of meeting and working with him. This duet is from Bizet's opera The Pearl Fishers and yes, Dimash plays Nadir (tenor) and Plácido plays Zurga (baritone). Greetings from Spain

Yes. Dimash's place is wherever he Chooses to be at the moment. Thank God he doesn't lock himself into Opera only! He would be bored to Death, and we would all be missing out!

From that day to now, he dreamed of meeting and working with Maestro Domingo. I am sure that Dimash appreciated being a judge on the Virtuoso program at the invitation of Maestro Domingo. Placido Domingo, born Jan. 21, 1941 and Dimash, born May 24, 1994 singing this classic duet on December 10, 2023. So there's 53 years between them, let that sink in for a moment. Placido's voice is still wonderful at age 82 in this clip. Maestro Placido Domingo was of course 1 of the Three Tenors (with Luciano Pavarotti and Jose Carreras). It's a wonderful aria in French by Bizet, both voices sound beautiful.Here Dimash sings like a tenor and Domingo like a baritone, Domingo said Dimash he can't sing anymore lije a tenor because it's age. But here they do ut so well, beautiful.

Dimash' natural voice is Tenor, but he has trained his barítono and soprano range. He can sing everything.
Thank you for you reaction. Domingo and Dimash with wide age gap, generations apart. Yet came a harmonious duet. Domingo is spectacular at 83. Dimash always at top.

Of course, Dimash is a tenor. Whoever says he is a baritone, probably has never heard a real baritone. Yes, he can sing in a baritone range (which overlaps a lot with the tenor range anyway) and he can add some baritonal quality to his voice, but this does not turn him into a baritone.

Dimash sang the tenor part as per Maestro Domingo’s request, Maestro Domingo said he can no longer hit the higher notes because of his age, but I know without a doubt, Dimash could sing the baritone. I think he would sing baritone comfortably. Thank you for your passionate reaction, I enjoyed it.
