If you mean on this course, not really. They have an open qualifier course in the early part of the day, then the top ten advance and they run a hybrid course which is similar to the open but with some differences. Then they do the speed course which usually recycles some obstacles, but has new ones and different configurations and in a different order. So at most, he ran the course twice before this, but they were different versions so this was basically his first try, which makes this run that much more impressive.
