The Most Effective System vs a Staller

Спорт

A stalling opponent can be one of the most frustrating things in Jiu-Jitsu and is often more annoying to deal with than a highly skilled one.
One of the most effective systems for dealing with a stalling opponent is demonstrated in today's video by world-class black belt Sebastian Serpa.
Sebastian won 1st Place at IBJJF World's in 2021 at brown belt.

@@MichaelStoller84 whelp. you just made my night. Thanks for this. I love the part where you are keeping track of your bite victims. Really gamifies the act. Like who has the bitting high score? is it hundreds or thousands? I have so many questions.

Something I learned when gripping both sleeves (double sleeve) is to not fight when your opponent tries to yank or pull off your grip. Go in the same direction they pull away. Your fingers will thank you.

Most people in lighter weights stand, but it’s really easy to get under and attack then, this system is specifically for when people lock down to stall. Which actually a lot do. I’ll do a video on attacking standing soon I have done a couple I’m the past

In my weight division (195lbs) people are stalling all day long when you get to spider lasso guard. They just sit and wait for you to try and triangle or omoplata them so that they can attempt to pass your guard.
