I wish we could do more difficult jobs like this in the U.S. I’m from Southern California. I was in trucking for 17 years. I rebuilt and changed te motor, transmission, rear ends, and painted my frame and replaced the front fenders of my 1978 Peterbilt 359 I really enjoy and appreciate men who do work like this Excellent job guys. I'm from San Diego and want to be a truck driver as soon as possible. As I see, since I'm from Brazil, Countries that aren't that industrial like US, the time/job hour are way more cheap than US, so, doesn't make any sense do it professionaly, the cost to fix a a truck in that way in Russia/Brazil, is 1/8 of the cost in US. An hour of that professional in Russia, maybe is less than $0.25, same in Brazil. Where the month salary is about $200 (little bit more but less than 250)

Из двух кусков непонятно чего сделать вещь не каждый сможет , мастеру здоровья .

I spent years doing repairs like or similar to this. But it has been a few years, I'm now 79. I still buy and repair cars and pickup trucks. I do the repairs the way they should be done. I always have customers waiting for me to finish another. It's nice to see that there are still people making repairs the way they should be done. Great video, keep it up, I'll keep watching.

@Basmach Abrekov I think Americans do it to encourage people to buy new products in damaged areas to stimulate consumer demand, it's good for the economy but bad for the environment, damaged products will become garbage, and they should not be used. recycled, thrown away to rot or exported to less developed countries for recycling, they push the pollution to another country so they can be cleaner, and they see it as modern, modern , so sad

@@nuttzandboltzgarage1946 I have a 360* Blackhawk system 3, it’s an old machine that uses the old wedge type pinch weld stands. Who ever came up with that wedge system should be shot, I do admit it holds better than I would have ever thought but it’s just a crazy elaborate setup. I want get or make newer pinch weld stands. My bed raises up and down on both ends, has cylinders on all four corners, has a thick heavy bed, it’s very similar to the old Kansas Jack World Racks and I assume they were built at the same plant. It’s all air over hydraulic, 3 towers, work good but are big, where most towers taper from the bottom up mine are square all the way up which blocks your view a lot. I would like to change my towers. Another problem I have is my rollers for my chains are for the old original Blackhawk chains that had almost perfectly round links, where most chains have oblong links, the rollers have recesses for the links, round links, and I can’t find no old Blackhawk chain so I’m stuck with changing rollers to the type with a solid groove. I’ve looked online and every other place I can think of and I can’t find any info or parts so if you or anybody has a link or any information please reply to this. It will be much appreciated. “The way they should be done” yes sir! To many guys cut corners, use a sawzall entirely to cut for their repair and that’s just being lazy or trying to speed the repair up, cut corners to save money, whatever the reason it gives us guys that take our time to cut the spot welds and take these things apart at the seams a bad name, rebuilders as a whole suffer from the ones that cheat. Somebody goes out and gets killed because some guy tried to save a few dollars and take a shortcut instead of doing the repair properly, nothing chaps my ass more. In my eyes if you do the repair 100% right that vehicle will be stronger than it was from the factory. Taking one apart at the seams drilling and re-welding spot welds can be stronger than factory. A good welder can mig a drilled spot weld to be stronger than the original spot weld. I’ve seen some spot welds so weak from the factory you could take a seam buster and hammer and chisel right through it with one lick of the hammer. I’m 45 and I can only hope I’m still able when I’m your age, that’s amazing I commend you Sir you have my respect and admiration. 👍

просто в Европе услуги очень дорого стоят. поэтому там бы не было выгодно ремонтировать ее. а здесь работы мало стоят - поэтому и ремонтируют.

Не только это. Видео показывает возможности. Не до всех машин много кабин. А новый грузовик - еще большая проблема. Здесь сделали одну полноценную из двух стоящих на металлолом будок. С запчастями части на 3-й и 4-й ремонт (в зависимости от поломки). Когда я говорил о ваших возможностях, я имел в виду не только каюты. Ведь вы делаете рамы, капитальный ремонт и т. Д. Очень широкий спектр услуг, и из того, что я видел, в очень хорошем качестве.

This was an incredible repair. Such a difficult repair would not be possible here in Australia. The truck would be totalled and not repaired. You would not think that donor cab would have had any use, being so badly damaged, but it just goes to show that it does not pay to throw useless junk away, because it can have a use after all. It's illegal to do that in Aus & here in the US due to the loss of structural integrity, that's why we write them off & kill the title.

@@nzsaltflatsracer8054 no it’s not about the structural integrity, if the cost of repair is equal to or greater than half the vehicles worth most insurance companies will total out the vehicle giving it a salvage title. Insurance companies then send these to a dealers auction to be sold for either salvage or rebuild. Dealers include parts distributors “junkyard” or rebuilders. Rebuilders do this very thing here in this video but in the states we have more laws and regulations, vehicles have to be inspected by the state before they receive a “rebuilt title” and they use to be very strict when the rebuilt title law first came into effect around 30 yrs ago. We use to have majors and minors, we could only change one major and five minors. A major would have been a motor or transmission, firewall, top and tail or tail clip alone or top alone, frame. Minors included doors, hoods, fenders, deck lids, front or rear bumpers/covers. And they was strict about it when they first started. Car companies started putting vin#’s on all panels and most companies etched in the glass. Of course things relaxed , and then some states didn’t allow the rebuilt titles, or maybe it was certain insurance companies in certain states. I know we got a few that couldn’t be titled and we had to be careful what we bought. That was yrs ago. But yeah it just depends who buys these vehicles from the insurance company dealer sales as to what gets back on the road- dismantlers or rebuilders-trying to make a dollar.

back in the 70's & 80's I had a relative who ran a garage repair shop and employed a guy who did exactly the same sort of body repairs utilising second hand parts, cutting and repairing along th manufacturers body seems so as not to loose integrity of the structure. Not a trace of body filler in site.Fascinating to watch him. My relative was most put out when the guy left and went self employed but at least he would from out work to him. A man with such skills are not easy to come by. Great footage and enjoyed watching.

Ну раз делают ремонт значит это дешевле чем купить другую кабину. И разбираться документами. Там наверно нужно будет вписать в птс о замене кабины. Я сам незнаю но думаю кабина как и рама номерная часть грузовика и просто так не поменяешь.

Они удобные, не мешают в работе и хватает на долго. Здоровье свое сбережете, кожу, суставы, кости и глаза

Hallo Leute, hervorragende Handwerksarbeit. Bei uns in Deutschkand wüsste ich keinen mehr, der eine solche Reparatur professionell durchführen würde. Mein Onkel war gelernter Karosserieschlosser und hatte einen Richtbank für Personenwagen. Mein Onkel ist in Rente und die Firma schon lange geschlossen. Also. Im Falle eines Falles den Schrott einladen und nach Russland zur Reparatur bringen. Es ist eine Freude Euch bei der Reparatur zuzusehen.

Мне кажется просто поменять кабину дешевле учитывая такой объем работ. Я не увидел в видео обрабатываются ли соединения панелей шовным герметиком. В любом случае работа проделана огромная. Снимайте видео и всем удачи на дорогах!

Здравствуйте. Покраску покажем. Мастера заставить делать то что он не хочет я не смогу) И так снимаю хожу аккуратно вокруг - что бы не потревожить) Не мешать. А он сам по себе делает свою работу) Он очень опытный что бы ему я раздавал советы)

Всегда приятно смотреть на работу людей, у которых голова на месте, и руки растут не из задницы. Ребята, огромное Вам уважение. Отдельное уважение владельцам магазина: маленькие площади-большой порядок. Удачи Вам всем. После 47 лет работы с металлом я могу это оценить в полной мере.

You can get away with repairs like that in Russia but in places like Holland and the United States we're required to write those off because this structure of that cab will never be the same. The structure of it will never be as strong as the original if it's in a wreck similar to the wreck it was in before that cab will crumble like a soda can. But that doesn't take away from the fact that he done an excellent job repairing it. But with all the structural damage it had and had to be repaired it will never be as strong as the original

I disagree! Cause the structural beams that take the impact are replaced and only the sheetmetal got stretched! Look closely when they weld it back to each other! This cabine is good to go!

I have been a body man and painter for over 30 years and I have to say this is craftsman level work. Not many body men can do collision work like this And do metal finish work. Most people get it close and fill it with body filler. Paint quality looks very nice. Great work. You are masters of your trade.

Очень творческая работа, необходимо очень много опыта, что бы сделать это все на отлично. Не каждый сможет. При этом есть много мастеров, которые скажем так - не очень делают подобную работу.

@@trucks_channel_razborgruz Сварка в стык, без внутренней подкладки силовых элементов не очень добавляет прочности конструкции кабины.

Great work to save this cab. Far too many valuable resources get wasted because we tend to scrap far too much that could have been saved. Only thing I didn't like is, that I'd have loved to see the whole truck reassembled and ready to go back into traffic, instead of just seeing an empty cab shell in the end, that was quite disappointing.

I did this type of repair back in the sixties with early oil filled mig welders, brilliant to see it still being done, and so well, a credit to you all.

That job was 60% cheaper than a new cab! Labor rates must insanely cheap in Russia. No shop in the U.S. would touch that.
