Zoom ol monster in green pumpkin and zoom magnum trick worm on a shakey head can't go wrong
I’m new to bass fishing (2 years) and I love finding these great info videos. Helps a lot !!! Keep it up .
He’s right about those worms. I’ve had great luck on Zoom’s Grape red flake Monster Worm here in Central Florida
This channel is one of the most informative on the subject of bass fishing
Was cruising your channel for older videos on big worms earlier today, great timing!
Plastic worms for sure! I haven't traveled enough to throw 10 inch worms but I've got the others with me all the time. Summer is typically dominated by Senko style worms, 7 1/2 inch Power Worms and a 6 inch straight tail Power Worm. Love the blue fleck and especially Tequila Sunrise and Red Shad. Pumpkin and motor oil have their situations too. I still use a Florida rig screw lock weight on the Power Worms like I learned in the 90s. Great video Ty
Love worm fishing. Thanks for the video.
Another epic video. I watch all your videos. Best of luck and congrats on the subscribers
Great video! Thanks! Love the Ole Monster.
Another great video here. This guy is awesome knows his fishing. He posts very helpful videos.
25K CONGRATS Tyler
Congratulations on reaching 25K!
So close to 25k. Great vid as always. Gotta love the worm baits. One that I found that works awesome is a big bite baits coontail in tilapia color. I have caught a ton of fish on these. Don't know if you have tried them or not but they work well.
Great info. So glad I found your Chanel.
Congrats on 25k
Great video. So much information. Thanks.
Congratulations on the 25k
I love the Zoom ole monster!
My boater at St Mary’s was out fishing me with his 7” worm until I switched over to the ned rig. Things evened up after that. Both are great for sure.
OMG! I actually did something right!!! I have that exact ribbon tail of the Berkley Powerbait you listed.
Strike King Rage Tail Anaconda. I also love the KVD Bull Worms. I gotta try the Zoom Monsters! Plum is also my favorite all around color.
I always stick with the old old reliables that's the purple worm and a blue worm even in tournaments those are the worms I use love the channel man keep up the good work this is great and believe it or not I used to use the man's purple worm the grape LOL but I do use the zoom and love the ribbon tail worms
Another great video thanks for the help
i love and use all the colors you showed. There was onecolor that i use you didnt mention is the motor oil by Berkley
Your so Close to the 25k my friend
The Berkeley power worm is about my favorite
Junebug red flake is my favorite color of all time!! favorite bait of all time zoom ol monster
I was just going to say that you're almost at 25k! Congratulations. Fingers crossed I win! 🤞🤞
Hell yeah, Neko rig in the summer!
Love the name of the color Margarita Mutilator!!! Gooood solid info, thanx!!! Are you at the James River now for a tourney???
Excellent content!
Been fishing new , thick brush piles . Senko style worms with a 1/4 ounce sinker is the only worm I found that doesnt get small bass or panfish nipping at the tail or appendages, causing me to set the hook and getting hung up . I set the hook with a stick bait I almost always set the hook on a bass.
great video, I subscribed!
👀Great Job with your worm commentary - Keep up the good work! Best regards, Jim Brawner
Thanks extremely helpful

Power air 7.5" worm was my FIRST plastic I ever caught a Bass on. Man, what an adventure Berkeley has taken me on👍
Great tips as always. I'm a hardcore worm guy who's decided to try some new tactics. I've always been a bank beater, but started fishing offshore brushpiles this year as well. Question about color selection.... seems to me that black/blue fleck or junebug would be really good for deep water. If so I'll stick with those. Im really drawn to that plum color. What conditions do you fish it? Thanks.
Love the worm
When you said the Berkeley power worm is overlooked I realized I've had two in my box since like 2010ish.
Berkley power worm ribbon tail love it my number one worm the senko is a close second
Almost at 25k!
Also try the ZOOM U tale red shad
Just getting into bass fishing. Need to know what to throw then I gotta get a baitcaster, don't think my spinning rods are gonna cut it
after watching this...i compared 2 diff lure comp....June Bug color...some have a purple tail and the other had a rred tail....so witch is the best of the 2 colors.?..thank you
Great tips++
Black 10 inch power worm. 💪

Plastic worms are my go to baits
Margarita Mutilator is my go to . When all colors fail MM will get them 👍
I pretty much only use junebug ole monster at my pond, they dont seem to want anything else
Motor Oil in the power worm is deaaaadly. And you forgot to link your video about the speed worm. Unless I'm missing it, which is not unlikely.
Awesome video! Where did you get that hat?
Great video! Iv been wearing em out on a Junebug ol monster for the past month!!🎣🎣🤙🤙
10 inch purple ribbon tail, getting it done!
Could I get the Okuma reel in left hand retrieve??
Excellent content. When the giveaway will be?
Caught my PB on a Yum Ribbontail Worm 💪🏼
Caught my first largemouth on that ribbon tail blue glitter
You mention the Ole Monster in Junebug for certain states. Curious what those states are besides Florida? Thanks so much.
Love it
This goes back to the argument about whether or not fish can always be made to bite- some ppl believe they will always bite if you just put the right thing in front of them in the right way but- I'm not sure that's true. Then again- who can say cause there's an endless amount of different things and presentations you could try so there's really no way to try them all and find out. That said- I've seen days where even the highest percentage baits- like a senko or curly tail- wouldn't do the job- but hey, maybe if I had of tried some crazy presentation I never heard of they would've tore it up - who knows.
Any tips for north ga lakes?
I just started getting into fishing and came across your channel. Your content is awesome and very informative especially for people like me who are pretty green. I live in Montana and am looking into upgrading my rod and reel since I only have a cheap Walmart spinning reel currently. Do you have any solid recommendations that won’t break the bank? I always see content creators using a baitcaster but I’m not sure if it’s worth it.

Nick, Kast King has some great bait casting reels and rods that are affordable. Best to buy a rod & reel combo for maximum savings

Lake eufaula in Oklahoma? Or is there another one
I basically fish from the shore 99% of the time The spots I fish are no more than 4-8ft deep Not a lot of cover. I like to keep it simple I’ve always enjoyed soft plastics . Maybe my handicap but now that July is here I’m not having success . Typically the water I fish is either one of three Clear with a black bottom Stained water Green ish water Will top water walking baits early in the morning be effective or a waste of time? Are bass after crawfish during July? Or do I need to put crawfish style baits away? During July are the fish sluggish because of warm water and does that mean I need to slow my retrieve down? I have so many questions can you help a brother out
Man that 1st hook set whip was awesome....I even rewound it to hear it again. It sounded so good I have to ask....did you dub that in or was that real time/real sound?

In very stained water the 7.5” culprit ribbon tail in tequila shad is unbeatable
Roboworms are my choice 95% of the time on a Drop shot
Where's the lizard that's a really good bait down here in Florida for summer time fishing lol
Wacky is all they've been hitting in the rivers around me lately.
I have good success with a z-man mag fattyz. It's has good action.
We've hit 25k! I'm excited 4 giveaway
What hook size do you use on the Ole Monster? Would a 4/0 work or do you use a 5/0 or larger?
@theangrybass3389

For Monster worms use either 5/0 or 6/0 EWG offset hooks
I’ve been on repeat with your videos and they are great but it just clicked like watching my kids everything in this world is fast forward . The way they think and have to be entertained, fishing seems to be if you don’t catch something here, cast there and try a different technique, if not there over there with a different cast or yank. Not putting your videos down just thinking how the world has changed. It’s a wonder why I can’t teach my kids to fish with a live worm . Just typing out loud . I do appreciate the videos though. Thank you
I'm from North Florida I've used a 10 inch worm culprit and 7.5 culprit worm in the summer all summer over cast cloudy days are best or right before a front fish this around creeks and moving water gives the worm more action on rivers creeks ponds and lakes I fish the 10 inch more weightless or small wait gives it more action on heavy pressured ponds and lakes colors black purple water melon red and red shad good luck rip some lips
Zoom monster motor oil catches them anywhere
I've heard Bass see purple really well.
What rod length and power would you recommend for 8" 10" and 12" worms

6th sense ridge worm, Gambler 10 and 13” ribbon tails and the Xzone blitz worm are my go tos in the summer
its ironic that i hve a pack of that power bait unopened in that same color from the 80s or 90s lol
worms are confusingnto me. the bigger thw worm arent there more surface for the fish to miss the hook on? when does the fish attack the moving parts and when does it just nible att the ends?
@joshthomas1706
3 жыл бұрын
In general, larger worms attract larger fish. They generally eat by inhaling the whole worm, even the small ones less than a pound can inhale 7” worm no problem. That said- size, color, tail or no tail is all about presentation and showing them something different that what others aren’t using. Here in TX in hot summer when spinners, cranks and swimbaits aren’t working, the worm presents something more attractive and gets bites when others don’t. Good luck to you. Tight lines!
Big worms all ways work....old monster June bug that's it for me and t mac
Set the FAAAAQ outta that hook😂
New subscriber great content. Hope i win the draw that a sweet set up
What are the best type and size hooks that go with the ribbon tail type worms?
@theangrybass3389

For 7” worms, it’s best to use either 3/0 or 4/0 EWG hooks

Who won reel?? Congratulations 25 k
I do have that #4 worm in my tackle box in that color too. They have been there for better than 15 years. I never use them. As a matter of fact I have never caught a fish of any type on a plastic worm. I've been fishing for 40+ years. Never a fish. This year I have decided I was going to catch something on a plastic worm. So far I have failed.

Maybe you might be doing something wrong. Or just maybe It could be a couple different things but.. if this helps any, and I'd suggest Sir that maybe slow down your retrieve, or try tying on a worm and just fish it slower? What ways have you fished a worm so far?
