We gave up sugar. Ice cream, chocolat, cookies, cake etc and They devil tests us every evening after dinner watching tv lol.. But we laugh and say get behind us . Praise you Christ Jesus and its easy. Blessings to all

For Lent 2024, I fasted from drinking alcohol, smoking and dating men...I wake up at 5:30 am start with the daily Rosary then some Bible readings n journaling. I'm making space for God, surrendering my problems n worries n listening to His voice. It is amazing. God loves us so much. We sin because we don't make time for God to show us how much he loves us n guide us through live n let him take over. Sin opens the doors or portals to demonic attachments.

All you need is Jesus. He is the Greatest Physician. He paid for our suffering and pain at the cross of Calvary. My short leg grew out instantly by the powerful touch of Jesus. I used to fall a lot when I used to walk on the streets but not anymore.

This is absolutely true. Discipline is so important, it cant be exagerated enough. God bless you fr. Rippenger!

Staying firm on your routine is key. Anything else is from the evil one. I have a routine and I don’t even count the days anymore I just focus on my routine. One begins to see that it is best to live life as a pilgrim sojourner in this world and definitely not a permanent resident. The routine helps with this mindset.

I'm a Catholic I recently returned to mass and I must admit after I started to listen to ven, fulton sheen and I would recommend it to anyone feeling lost just to get back to the point why is there so many books to buy would it not make more sence for it to be spoke about at mass and give people more incentive to go and get to know their priests.. Mass today in our church is 45 mins which to me seems routine and hurried and un educational especially for children bring back the old mass I feel that mass is a place to praise to educate and bring a spiritual closeness of all who attended I think we need it now more than ever.. If anyone ever reads this please say a prayer for fr father mark birde he was a great pastor and priest may the light of heaven be with him..

Thank you always Father and so grateful for our traditional Catholic Faith we can follow no matter what evil tries to block our devotion. I so appreciate discipline being very important (obedience is something I strive for daily, it simplifies my daily pilgrimage in this life). Nowhere am I perfect with obedience but whatever progress I make I feel the Holy Spirit helping me on the journey. How I love our Catholic Faith!!!🙏💗✝️

When i was battling demons , darkness Ive heard voice of Jesus saying rejoice in me. Love of Christ saves the soul. And it was heavy attack. Also darkness is showing us the way to God and Jesus to healing to surrender to love and build the strong faith in him.

Keep praying daily, never let sinful feelings enter the heart, keep it secret, keep it safe... with the Lord.

We're surrounded, outnumbered and under attack constantly. It used to be that things would quite down for a while then start up again. There's no break anymore.

I need to add this spiritual discipline to my life! I’m a convert to Catholicism and I routinely get attacked in my sleep. In one case, the demons even targeted my wife, who has never had any kind of demonic oppression.

Through the small cracks.

The love of a particular discipline done regularly keeps us centered in ourselves. The fruit that the discipline yields makes us satisfied with ourselves. This can be any endeavor performed in the spirit of devotion. For example, knitting can be done in the spirit of devotion. Of course, the discipline is carried out with a contemplative expanding awareness with the teachings of Jesus illuminating our beings. Contemplating the teachings of Jesus in multiple depths while carrying out the discipline is the opening of the "inner room." So there is no room for diabolical influence.

Pray over & over “ Jesus,I surrender myself to you, take care of everything!” Trust that Jesus WILL take care of it! Forgiveness is the best! What an intense life you must lead. Guess somebody has to do it. The Lord is my God. There is no one to fear. Keeping my life centered on that. Can’t imagine being a demon slayer and don’t even discuss it. Think this may be the first time I’ve communicated an exorcist. Just want to be as far away as possible from those thoughts. Hope there is room in Heaven for cowards. I crave and work & pray for Peace. You’re the heavy lifter.

To me that is a symbol of ideal...unworried...unburdened spirit...to have health to sleep well and make predictable commitment to prayer, fasting with mind to an ease from cooking or restraint from farmwork... agriculture products versus fish that is "hunted" not necessarily highly managed by people. But if live in a contemplative life, feel our society is hostile to that as most choose visible society & present rewards served by culture of specific ancestry presented by family & adults from our youth. So am spiritual with Catholic doctrine but unable to remove from a hermit layperson call. Very difficult with physical pains, noticing minutes for year memorials to 16 th century number 15... when lots died from smallpox overwork in slavery, and number 19 when death dieout started in Central & S. America...1519 and English held African slavery began 1619. So have understanding we are still in lowpoint as world living post Covid, mourning from height of deaths Feb '21 takes about 4 years. Appreciate other perspective on reducing unrest by unchanneled eternity, hell...by regular work week in your religious calling.

So follow the law?

You will develop all of the virtues if you discipline yourself to follow all of the old laws of the church. Undisciplined=open to developing demonic affliction.

Does Fr Ripp offer trad Catholic mass too?

I think, first we need to understand and follow the 10 commandments. If we recognise them day and night and try as mjch we can, to follow them, then we already have the best protection against evil. And kf we believe, that JESUS has not come, to remove them, but FILL THE COMMANDMENTS WITH HIS LOVE, so that we can understand this commandments NOT as a destructiv limitation of our life, but as the BEST AND LOVING GUIDE through out hole life, than we are realy quite save. Now I tell you, how I organise my hole week: Monday I pray the Rosary Gabriel came to our Lady Mary...and all 5 laws. But I dont pray every law 10 times, but only 1 time. So I move from 1. law to the 2., 3, 4., and 5. law. In this way, I am very sure, that my soul is in touch with the meaning of the hole Rosary right in the morning. Then I keep on praying in the same way, during the hole day 10 times.... In this way, Inpray the hole Rosary, but in case, I dont find the time to pray 10 times, I did NOT missed the hole meaning of the Rosary for Monday. I feel, this way can help children sooo much to be in touch with the Rosary, without making tgem boring. In fact, to pray the Rosary this way, you have to be always concentrated and avoid, praying like the roboter. Negativ aspect: you cant fall in a kind of trance or positive routine, which might for some people a kind of rest from tge daily stress. Thusday I pray rosary for UNITY OF THE CHURCH... in the same way. Wednesday i pray the Rosary : Jesus was baptised....ans so on. I pray the same way, as explaned before. Sins I cant go every day for MASS, I celebrate in special way, that JESU GAVE US THE EUCHARIST, which is the 5. Law. Thursday again I pray for Union of Christians. But in the evening I celebrate the LAST SUPPER with JESUS and His desiples. After that I definitly fast till Friday after 3 pm. Friday I pray the sorrorfull Rosary, as kt should be at Friday. The same way as explaned before. After 3 pm. I start eating again but not much. I feel for JESU, that HE is going to a special place... Saturday I pray again for Unity of all churches, but also remember the Shabbad of the jews in some how. SUNDAY I PRAY of corse the Rosary of the resurection. And I celebrate a bit Eastern. Wonderfull. With all my thanks to JESUS. Monday I start again, as I explaned above. This way makes it realy easy for me, to keep my discipline very easy and without stress, for the hole week ! In this way, I remember the hole life of JESUS from birt to baptist and giving us the Eucharist till Friday, when HE died for us till Sunday, when HE resurected...... PRAYING IN THKS WAY... it is much easier, to keep on praying through out the day your Rosary. You just have to pray 10 times during the day 5 laws. In case, you are in Town or at work, its quite easy to stopp in between, for praying 5 laws. Practicaly I took one Rosary and kept a gap after the 5. Pearl. If you are fitt with your hands, then you can just tie a thread in the gape. OR you find an other way to separated each 5. Laws. I call my new Rosary, Anti-babble Rosary.... because I want to obay JESUS as much as possible, means praying without babbling. I am very sure, praying the Rosary in this way, makes it easy, to help children also to pray the Rosary. The main thing is, to be in touch with the meaning of the hole rosary right from the beginning. In case, you dont get the time to finish it up, you never missed the deep meaning lf tge Rosary. One more thing to say: I often hear, that catholics öray on Thusday and Friday the Sorrorfull Rosary. For me, this is something very hurtung. Is it not enough, if we share the death of JESUS once a week with HIM? For me, this is just enough. Its the Friday. I guess, it is much better, to feel for HIM realy and start fasting from Thusday Night till Friday after 3 pm, thrn to pray this Rosary also on Thusday. Maybe you can try to organise your week with JESUS and MARY in this way. GOD BLESS ALL OF US SOOO MUCH !!!

I agree with your sentiment. I think videos like these can show how a proper spiritual life can defend against the demons so that they become ineffective.

So that means if you are in the state of grace! You will not be tempted ! Or we will not be attacked by the devil! I don’t believe on that , what happened to all the Saints were attacked by the devil like Padre Pio

Catholic teaching informs us that we will always be tempted in this life. “The devil prowls about like a roaring lion seeking whom he can devour.” Fr. Ripperger was not hinting at that.

I cannot understand why god wants to pray all life long and not living fully in your freetime. Makes no sense. Sleep well, spend time with your family and friends. People are creations of God. Free will is granted, but love your peers. Never judge anyone, be tolerant and spread peace of life. Bring joy to people, but respect earth and their habitants.

A life centered on prayer will do all of these things well. A life not founded on prayer will be self centered.

It doesn't mean that discipline protects you from all demons. Only if discipline is combined with loving God you can make progress. Discipline as such, hardly is a virtue. The Nazis were masters in discipline, for a number of years. However, they were the devil's instrument, having caused limitless wicked evil. Don't think that discipline alone will set you free.

Not at all. Faith and fear do not coexist. That's why Fr. Ripperger has said elsewhere that demons are more boring and predictable than scary.
