The name is generic, there is Cristal beer in the United Kingdom, Belgium, Portugal and many other countries....

The fact in one of the clips appears ANOTHER "Cerveza Cristal" The Peruvian one, with the motto "It's better, it's ours", while the Chilean Cerveza Cristal has as a motto "The One, The Biggest and Ours"... such a weird biff between them considering only in Nothern/Southern parts of both countries you can find both of them in the same aisle xD And yes xDD The "CERVEZA CRISTAL" jingle is of course a born in the early 90's thing xDD

I thought the Obi chest was clever, but that Palpy one is definitely the best. Such an effective use of a reversed trick-shot.

I'm surprised that this moment vent THAT viral THAT quickly. That bear now has some great meme advertising.

I think i first heard of it from a tiktok talking about it a few days ago and started seeing memes being posted on twitter the next day lol, i wonder if that tiktok's what made it blew up haha

The amazing of this is that chileans saw this comercials 20 years ago, we loved that spots, and the world is just discovering on 2024 how great the chileans comercials are. Concepción Chile.

I saw this on The Last Leg last night, I thought it was just a skit they made up. I just looked it up and got blown away to realise that it was REAL! XD

There's such a stark difference between how it was sung on the tonight show vs how it was done by you, it's wild

I remember a commercial in which they replace R2-D2 with a can of crystal beer... For me and many children, this was our first experience watching Star Wars, those commercials are nostalgia

A small correction, you use images of the Peruvian Cristal beer, its logo appears, or even the flag of Peru appears, the Chilean Cristal beer has a very different logo. cheers.

Beware with the commercial reference, because the original is a Chilean brand, and you video show a Cristal brand of Perú. (Mexico have a Cristal beer too).

Would be Cool if it was added at the Catina Bar in Disney World in Florida

01:02 Bruh!! You put the wrong Cerveza Cristal ad there. That's the peruvian Cerveza Cristal which it has nothing to do with the chilean one which it became a meme. About why they coexist and there are no trademark dispute I have no idea.

Chill man, it was probably a simple mistake. Also, i think because of the different legal systems, two beers named Cerveza Cristal existing is not going to cause trouble.

I love that method of TV ads - and yeah the UK ads could do with a bit of sprucing up.

It's not a isolated case, in Brazil the broadcaster SBT modified an scene of the Mexican series "El Chavo del ocho" to make an advertisement for your telenovela "Carrossel".

The ads are seemless to the film

I rememver TV in Germany in the 00s having clear "Advertising" idents of sorts when an ad block started/ended making these things impossible (though there were occasionally still themed ads around a certain movie's broadcast). Pretty sure many other countries also had regulations against this kind of advertisement, but this makes me wonder whether there were many other cases like it before. Or whether this even caused these regulations? Like, it's good to know in times of social media whether someone received a free copy or even gets paid to say good things about a product, so I'm glad about such regulation overall. But these are really charming, which I rarely say of a beer ad. Just - why was Luke caressing that can so much???

I was late to this only discovering it when it was discussed - and obviously parodied - on The Last Leg. I agree with Adam Hills that it may be head spinning, but you've gotta applaud their inventiveness. And this Adam, you do the jingle quite well! This is a thing in Latin America, it seems. In the international segment of the clip show Chris' Final Answer, marking Chris Tarrant's departure from Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, the Venezuelan host is seen holding up a box of the sponsor's product during a question, which is odd to us in the UK, used to Chris very often - and Jeremy Clarkson very rarely in contrast - taking a break after a Final Answer had been Locked In - thanks, Australia for that one. Still at least it wasn't like Ireland, which sometimes held a Final Answer, not over a commercial break, but over an entire programme - Ireland's top soap opera Fair City. Really, host Gay Byrne on a number of occasions said "Could he possibly be right? Come back to us after Fair City!" 😅

Itd be nice to see how they transition from the ad back to the film. Cause it seems impossible
