I used to play varsity football ball and I was the last line of defense. Other team could’ve won if they had gotten one touchdown. They where on the one yard line for forth down in forth quarter with barely a minuet left in the game. I was D Line, the offense play was a reverse left. I busted past a double block and into the reverse pushing the dude back as I tackled him.

The fact that you have to get the whole team across the center line to end the match, and this kid was able to avoid that for so long... This song fits perfectly. What heart and determination! The will to never give up, to give more than what you thought you had. A legendary performance that should inspire all for all time. Doesn't matter that his team lost: this was a winning performance and should be honored. They should build a tug-of-war statue and have this kid in the anchor position. The sentiment is that no matter who or what is on the other side, you know you have him watching your back; Don't give up!

Alright I got the show here for everyone: Season 1: We open on No.4, or as I’ll refer to him as just 4. He’s been training to become a professional Tug-of-War Player. His mom’s encouraging ever since his father “disappeared” and all he has left are his father’s shoes. He’s participating in the Championships and meets his coach and team, he starts out a complete rookie in the first match until he’s pulled to the line where he holds strong so they can win. Season 1 is all about 4 and him getting to work with his team and know them better. Ends with them winning the Qualifiers. Season 2: Mini-Training Arc and the big tournament, a rival from Season 1 Appears. The antagonist is revealed as the man who defeated 4’s father before he disappeared. He’s gonna be one of those Antagonists though that’s super mean and underestimates 4 but grows to warm up to 4 and be a cool ally. 4’s team wins. Season 3: The new antagonist who wants to destroy all of Tug-of-War forever. His plan is to make all Tug-of-War games so dangerous no one will play. 4’s team has to show the determination of the human spirit as the last team that will play, we get heartbreak as even 4’s team doubts there’s any merit in still playing. In the end they win against the villain and his robotic Tug-of-War team in the game held over a Volcano. During that match 4 has to hold his team over the volcano and has his flashbacks. We end with the villain revealing he wanted to end Tug-of-War so he could find the String of Fate. Season 4: (we add 4’s logo to the title) 4 and his team are now in search of the String of Fate, but there’s a tournament they have to also train for. They learn the String of Fate is a mystical rope that binds the universe together. The meet a new villain who is in search of this rope and is way better at Tug-of-War than 4’s team so they need to enter the tournament and get stronger to beat this new villain. They win. Season 5: The team goes in search of the String of Fate. They must defeat several Tug-of-War themed guardians to find it’s location. When they find it though 4 finds… HIS FATHER!!! He was protecting the String this whole time. And as last season’s villain grabs hold we have 4, his father, his team, his mother, rival, several shipping options, antagonist of season one who in terms of power scaling is the weakest for some reason, and every other important character in a final tug. They win and save the universe.

I'm an anchor in the girls tag of war team every year, and it's kind of dangerous to run forward. Especially if the 2nd to the last doesn't have a good footing. And it's not sure wether or not the other team will saw the opportunity to pull while he changed positions. Like what I did when i saw one of the opponents members released and I pulled backwards. What I do is tensioning the rope by 1 hand pull the other is forward to make it seem I have a handle. All my strength goes to the pulling hand and leaning back

That kid is basically every shounen protagonist rolled into one. His never say die attitude inspired his team to to find another level they didn’t know they had in them

There's a reason they picked him to start on the end. Not because he's the biggest or most powerful but because they knew they could rely on him to not give up. Someone with that level of determination will not lose. Well done kid.
