In Americas "Our respect our values our up bringing is vanished in general we ONLY looking for what other can give us NOT what we can give. For example, few years arriving in United States, I had an aunt living in Canada, I called her up telling her I am to visit her in her replied "bring me some liquors, I said that is all I have to spent while I were In Canada, she said she will give me back me money, she never did. Many years later she asked me to sponsor her nieces she will pay, I look at her, I never said a WORD. "Memories do not live like peoples do they ALWAYS stay with us. WHY should I make the SAME error AGAIN???? ANYWAY, Thanks for the documentary.
One beautiful thing about Abiriba is that you're not scared to go into someone's else's house when you're thirsty. You can't visit anyone's house without being fed. Abiriba youths embark on different projects annually shared among themselves. The next projects are focused on education and schools. Then Healthcare in the nearest future. It's a lovely place to be and I'm proud to call it Home.

Yes very true my brother. Remember our massive Akahaba General Hospital, built by the same named age grade before the war. Handed over to the State Government, which they left to deteriorate over time. Has now been refurbished by some well meaning Abiriba men women in the diaspora. If only the State Government will allow the community to repossess it's management, as being engaged. Not to mention the Okezie School of Midwifery, built by same named age grade years back.

Nwanna, hapu ihe ahu, enweghi Ihe anyi were. Have you been to Kano and Kaduna before? Igbo land has the worst roads in Nigeria state. Igbo land have had the worst performing governors in Nigeria. I bet you travel and see things for yourself. The roads in Igbo land is of low quality compare to some northern states. If our Igbo governors were working and doing what they are supposed to do, Igbo land would have been heaven, but no they are doing the opposite
Nice one I'm from Abiriba. We live in various cities in Nigeria and abroad. An Abiriba man's first mandate is to build in Abiriba first before building in the city. That's why you see the building houses People live in those houses. Abiriba has four seasons; Christmas, Easter, Ekembu (September) and Iriama ( July). During these periods, Abiriba people lock their businesses and offices and travel home. When you come to Abiriba doing these periods, there are influx of people with different ceremonies happening around. Abiriba is known for exotic parties and ceremonies with expensive drinks in the world. Try visiting Abiriba during Christmas or Easter etc. You're invited to celebrate Christmas with us, if you don't mind

That only happens when people share the same common belief. In the wider nation, people believe Nigeria will not work and they can't do anything. And so Nigeria doesn't work and no one does anything. In this Abriba, they have developed the opposite attitude over time. And so things work there.

Abriba great people with great mind, I have been hearing about this village.
This is so interesting and educative. One thing paramount with Abiriba people and most of old bende people is the love the show to one another. Even out side Abiriba when you meet them outside you will see the affection they show to themselves. Way back in the university this was obvious. But here is the thing, people are talking about bringing industries and other businesses to their community, but that to me will bring in a lot of strangers to their community and therefore pollute their culture and respect the share. This people are subject to their constituted authorities and the respect is so much in tact. Every thing they do follows rules and regulations and every body comply. So while we envy them, let's also know that they are committed to the peace and serenity of their community and the result is the ambiance and mutual co- existence the enjoy while home or abroad.
