They werent big when they started, the company was so broke and hardly known that they had to use twitter to promote themselves because they had no other choice. They could hardly get on tv programs or if they did sometimes their footage got cut.

Big Hit was tiny and once near bankruptcy. In a recent article it talks about Hitman Bang and his 4 employees. Like I said. Tiny. I think the company got up to 30 employees before BTS hit it big. Now they are huge.

Thank you, YES! BH was tiny and almost bankrupt - I suspect more than once. BTS reminisced that at one point BH couldn't pay them or their staff, and sent everyone home, but the rap line had nowhere to go and refused. BSH managed to get funds so they could continue. I can see why Jay got the impression that they were anticipated and welcomed on the scene, because their performance was pretty powerful - even though BTS themselves say they were not very good. Unlike groups from the Big Three companies who have so much influence on shows that they can effectively buy screen time and guarantee success for their groups, BTS had to fight every step of the way by their own effort. And finding any real success took them several years. BTS had to jostle for any chance to perform, and that continued for many years in Korea. Success in the rest of the world changed all that, but even now, if BTS decide not to appear on a show that expects them to, that show takes it out on other BH artists, and block them.

They all actually have their own places now! They don’t live together anymore.

685 is a producer/ sound engineer who made original music without lyrics, released it on the Internet, it was moderately successful and then Jason took the song, wrote lyrics and said it was just his own instead of some stupid robbery/ plagiarism. agreement and added 685 to the song!
