I can't even....the journal arrived and it is so lovely, such attention to detail. You had tucked a post card into the journal, dated 1914, the year my Father was born. I got to spend a few moments thinking about what might have been happening with him as a 7 month old baby while this one cent post card was whisking to it's destination. You started so many on their journal journey, I love that I will be able to give this a good forever home. Thank you so much! ❤

Embossing on the front covers is such a genius idea. I love using gold embossing powder whenever I can but hadn't thought of using it on a journal cover. TFS :)

It’s stamping with an embossing ink pad, then you pour the embossing powder over the inked image while it’s still wet, then you pour off the excess powder, then you heat the image with a heat tool or blow dryer to set it.

I adore the stitching!

I honestly often feel like every new journal you come out with is more beautiful than the last, but I've been watching all your videos you have on your channel and have been watching for years, and I think it's especially the case that each journal gets more beautiful since you started incorporating your own papers and your journals now have your own art as the pages. Your style is just so stunning and whimsical and just absolutely beautiful and I love seeing it in your books. You have a wonderful eye for beautiful patterns and colours and you always put together beautiful things but it's just more special when you even make the art for the paper you use.

Then in the comments Someone commented “it looks like Johanna” and you said “WHO IS JOHANNA’ All the while your journal was the same exact style as hers with the gold embossing,stitching,charms,circle cutout cover, papers inside…everything!
