    The story books that you dont want to cut up and use you should just scan the pages and print them out so you don't ruin the books 😁

    Oh my word, those children’s books in the bookcase at the beginning - I wouldn’t have been able to resist them, we NEVER see stuff like that in the UK charity shops anymore, everyone’s either hanging onto them or selling them for silly money on EBay. Loved the Enid Blyton, and I had that Rupert annual once upon a time, before I gave it away to a charity shop - the irony of it!

I share my finds in videos too and watching the finds of others gives me new ideas for what to look for. Love, love, love thrift shopping... and I love watching what others can and do pick up... These shops are a treasure trove of wonders... Aren't children's books the best? I look for botanical, birds, and children's books mostly... And to get crafty items is a bonus... unlike you though, I very rarely pick up lace or ribbon and get very excited when I do... thank you for sharing... Blessings...

    Newbie. Do you have a video on transforming a premade notebook into one that's refillable? I have two Louis Vuitton notebooks, with no paper remaining. I love the cover & would like to create an internal piece that fastens to the binder & used to accept blank pages.

  • @JohannaClough

    @JohannaClough

    4 жыл бұрын

    I don’t have a video specifically on this but it would be much the same as binding pages into a handmade cover.. you will need to gut it, possibly reinforce it and then bind new pages, or use an elastic method (travelers notebook style) to make it refillable again and again
