I agree with everything in this comment except for the fact that true love is effortless. Love has to work and work very hard to properly reach other people. Most of the time to truly love is to change or deny yourself. ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭4‬-‭7‬ , ”Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. It sucks finding this channel after I failed to stop being selfish and destructive and harming the most loyal, sweet and dedicated woman I’ve met. She asked for space because of what I did to her and she wants it because she said she wants us to have a chance in the future when she’s healed.
