What did folks see I'm Haney? See we saw Garcia and knew only special boxers cab defeat him. We never saw Haney nor Shakur as special boxers. Crawford's success doesn't rub off on ordinary boxers thinking because they are undefeated they are ready to be reigning champions. This ploy of making champions out of ordinary boxers start from the top. That and the idea of ducking starts from the very top. As far as boxers true greatness is concerned, that all gets clouded in a vast political firestorm of babble.😅

Ryan was cracking put the beats on Devin but I gotta give Devin credit, he got hit flush with some powerful sh*t and kept coming. Salute to both fighters. One loss doesn’t mean it’s over Ryan just proved that.

@@Coco-xw3wp most likely, someone had to learn and it wasn't Ryan. When Ryan came in overweight and still accepted his $500,000 stipulation he should have known the trouble he got himself into. This was not a boxing match at that point. It was a fight and Devin was NOT ready for a fight.

Ryan might have remembered what worked in the amateurs. Plus Ryan was in the Haneys heads so Devin tried proving himself like AJ did

Bottom line Devin Haney needs to find some power from somewhere.

Devin Haney didn't box in this fight he fought Ryan's fight following him all night, that was his mistake, he believed Ryan wasn't training, that plus Ryan was stronger due the unfair advantage Ryan had by internationally missing weight, i think in a rematch where both weigh in the same, and Haney using his boxing skills, he can beat up Ryan and even stop him, we've seen Haney hurt Ryan with a shot he landed a hook that bothered Ryan a lot and made him back away it's just that he wasn't catching him often cuz Ryan was seeing all the attacks coming because Haney wasn't being smart about it and following Ryan.

Haney definitely gets respect for keeping at it despite taking a beating and at times holding on for dear life . Respect to the man for keep trying , I felt the same about Spence when Crawford put a bear down on him , Errol kept getting up and kept trying . Much respect for any warrior that steps between those ropes and even more respect when you keep at it even though you’re getting g beat .

No doubt Crawford put a masterful beat down on Spence , all the more reason I respect that he kept trying AND don’t fool yourself , Haney really got knocked down more than the 3 times that the extremely biased ref recognized . Excellent video and talking points. Adrien Broner vs. Marcos Maidana is a prime example of power and fury overcoming what had been an undefeated, effective but slow-paced fighting style. Broner never went back for a rematch, and Devin should follow suit. Wrong opponent.

Maidana blamed it on conditioning and show up much lighter for the rematch. It was not conditioning. Mayweather made adjustments that Broner and Devin could not.

Boxing would be so much more exciting if boxers didn’t cherry pick so much just to make themselves look like they are the best when they really aren’t. Not saying thats Devin Haney because he was always willing to fight the best and when you do that you are going to take Ls. 100% facts that the most skilled fighter doesn’t always win, BUT between Haney and Garcia…. Garcia has more skills than Devin. Then u add the speed and the supernatural power that he packs behind those punches and u get this outcome. But to say Devin is more skilled than Ryan is cap! Ryan has raw, natural athletic skills… and his conditioning is also out of this world. Now with his new coach… he can sharpen his ring IQ thus transforming him into and all around threat for anybody in that ring!

It reminds me of Vernon Forrest vs Ricardo Mayorga. Forrest was a very skilled fighter, and he dismantled Mosley twice. Mayorga was a very crude fighter compared to Forrest, and on top of that he was also physically smaller. And yet Mayorga managed to defeat Forrest twice. He just had his number.
