Very unlikely. Kurds are Iranic branch of Indo Iranians and Mitannis were Indic branch of Indo Iranians, although Iranic and Indic were also related but Mitannis were close to north Indians than Iranians. You can say Mitannis were later assimilated with the Iranians

The current Kurds who defeated Isis in Syria are the ancestors of Mittanis and also the Hittite. They are the one who are protecting still the epic, legacy, belonged of indo- eourpean race.

Mitanni means One Home in Armenian..It was one of the many Armenian kingdoms, Hurrian too was an Armenian Kingdom meaning Fire in Armenian.. there many books on the subject...in English and Armenian and Persian..
