I figure there are so many World War II documentaries and films seeped in reality. So, it doesn’t bother me much that this was a little over the top and purely cinematic. Love the cast, and I love the subject matter. If it is not too overdone or superhero - like, I think I can get on board and I am looking forward to it.

I’d say it’s worth watching, maybe at matinee pricing. Just adjust your expectations a bit.

I went and saw it in Theaters. I thought it was great. A solid 8/10. Nothing that blew my mind but fun.

Well, that’s the thing, right? I had fun with it, but I’m like…I’ve already forgotten about it. I guess I wanted some depth considering the story it’s based on sounds fascinating. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@order42show Exactly. It has so much action yet is kinda boring almost. I liked Churchill's character a lot though, and the ending was cool.

Queen Eiza was the best part of the movie

Well, I mean - the wife wanted to go and I checked for showtimes and there it was! They’re doing this for a lot of movies lately - pretty cool to see it early!

I’ve heard of that! Apparently AMC showed Ministry a few days ago in a “mystery” screening. Definitely a cool idea!

I love Henry Cavill, but I hate these type of superhero secret agent/special forces movies, especially when it is set in ww2. It would’ve been better to tell the story of the first special forces mission truthfully, imo.

Yeah, I guess I was just a bit disappointed, which was even weirder because it’s like…it’s not bad! I guess if it gets people interested in the real story, then, good job, but…it would’ve been cool to see it here.
