Legacy! This is the word of the day for me. I just got a call from my mother this morning telling me my aunt died. She never had children, suffered from depression and never left a legacy behind that others could share or experience. This sounds harsh, but to my uncle, she’s everything, but outside of that she lead a simple life. I pray she is at peace now. That drive you speak of, I think it’s the drive to leave a lasting impression on others. To inspire others through your “art”. This is my drive, to show others their art. I see it in everyone and it breaks my heart to see people not pursue their calling in life. I’m a Jack of all trades and master of non, but I at least have the gift of big perspective, and I think that Pat’s gift is that as well. He’s able to see the gift others can give and he pulls that out of them for all of us here on KZread to watch and get inspired by. Thanks Pat, really, good I am taking a bit of time off and viewed this undistracted. Never thought of myself as the person you describe. But have a goal I'm pursuing that is in the benefit of a large demographic of people. Hope actually to achieve it in the background, not a money prize, a health and safety prize, and not for myself, except to see the group safe and protected. No greater prize than that for me in this instance. Was always a high energy person but went through some hardships in recent years, the last two being health. Emerging now at 71 in March I'm regaining both strength and endurance physically, and the drive to go into a higher gear on my social goal just mentioned, and others in my life. The greatest thing that happened recently (within the last few weeks) was the complete reset in my Christian life of - retuning to my first love - God, Christ and the Gospel - after what will be 48 years in Christianity this summer. I may not have 20 hrs a day of physical energy but one thing I'm sure of - 'with God, nothing shall be impossible.' Thanks Pat for all your insights and encouragement of so many people.
