I love your material Robert. I'm a brazilian lawyer which might go to study psychology in europe. Been reading your work The Laws of Human Nature and I just love the clarity in which you can express your point a view, most of times even through with a good story to back it up and contextualize the reader in another frame. Thanks for your words, you are an inspiration.

Probably you wrote this expecting Robert Greene to answer but, having been someone that's been in your situation, or at least a bit in you situation, and now come out the other side and would like to believe my attitude is a lot healthier, I do have a few specifics to give. Feel free to ignore them if you believe it doesn't help, but here's what I found helped me: 1. Awareness. Be very aware of what's happening to you and why, from thoughts flowing in your head without your control, to emotions that pop up randomly, especially the negative ones. I'd recommend looking into how the brain works at a subconscious level and even at a scientific level, what I found for myself was that my brain itself is like a circuit, aka : Event happens --> emotions follow --> thoughts then follow as well, then these thoughts triggered another set of emotions that triggered another set of thoughts and so on. Be very aware when something that triggers negative emotions happen, and try to ask questions, why, why did this happen, when did my brain learn to think this way, what are other ways to process this ? Your brain loves open ended questions, it likes working in the background and finding solutions so ask your subconscious as many questions as you can, it will provide the answer. Maybe not immediately, but it will. 2. Neuro-Linguistic Programming or NLP, it's a technique mostly used in marketing or sales, but the principle very much applies in psychology as well. In essence what it is, is the wording that you use in your everyday life AND especially how you talk to yourself. I was someone that, when I talked to myself I used very harsh language, and judged myself very harshly. Be very aware of the words you use. 3. Behavioural Therapy. This is the last one that involves the two above, by being very aware and finding out why your brain behaves a certain way, gives you the ability to disassociate from your thoughts and see the problem as something that you can fix and, ITS NOT YOU (yes, your thoughts are not you), but rather the skewed way your brain was configured. Then create mantras and through brute force, force your brain to think another way.

Robert Green's famous quote, "your attitude will change your life," suggests that one's attitude is the most important factor in determining their success or failure in life. However, while attitude can certainly impact one's perspective and approach to life, it is not the sole determinant of life outcomes. There are many other factors that can influence an individual's success, such as their environment, resources, support systems, and opportunities. One of the main issues with the idea that attitude alone can change one's life is that it places an unfair burden on the individual. It implies that if someone is not successful, it is solely because of their attitude, and that they are solely responsible for their own failures. This ignores the fact that many people face systemic barriers and inequalities that can prevent them from achieving their goals, regardless of their attitude. Moreover, the notion that attitude is the key to success is overly simplistic and ignores the complexity of human experience. People's lives are shaped by a myriad of factors, including their upbringing, education, socioeconomic status, race, gender, and other social factors. Attitude may play a role in how one approaches these factors, but it cannot change them. It is also important to recognize that attitude is not a fixed characteristic. It can be influenced by a range of factors, including external circumstances, mental health, and personal experiences. Encouraging people to simply change their attitude without addressing underlying issues can be unhelpful and even harmful. Finally, the idea that attitude is the key to success can reinforce harmful stereotypes and stigmatize those who are struggling. It can suggest that people who are not successful are lazy or have a bad attitude, rather than recognizing the structural and systemic factors that contribute to inequality and marginalization.

Don’t change anything… your Mind or Attitude. Just become “Unwavering” (Sadhguru) in your Awareness of your own “Being”-this is Meditation, then by and by you will find yourself dropping the inessential until you come to the essence, the core of your Self (EGO) which is Nothingness (Osho). 🙏🏻😊

When you allow yourself to be completely present in the moment by engaging each of your senses it's amazing what you can begin to see, hear, feel, taste and smell in ways that only you can. I absolutely loved your narrative commentary and the visual of the stream and meadow you chose to use in this presentation.🏞️ By choosing to accentuate the positive the negative fades away and you are left with an opportunity to embark on a beautiful sensory experience that can awaken you in every possible way. What I loved about this video is that it allowed you to become creative on what lessons you wanted to learn from it. If the viewer wanted to enhance their viewing experience they could allow themselves to feel what it would be like if they tried to make it across the river to the other side themselves. By pausing, closing your eyes and clearing your mind you could then allow yourself to feel the rush of the adrenaline and nervousness racing through you as you began to slowly walk barefoot across the slippery rocks all while feeling the rush of the cool water brushing up against you. As you are trying to maintain your balance so that you don't fall you then decide to turn your focus to the sound of the soothing water as it naturally flows down the steam, which instantaneously brings a calming sensation over you. Once you safely reach the other side and bend down to get a cool drink of water you decide to take a few extra moments to stop and smell the aroma of all of the beautiful flowers around you before you continue to begin walking again. 🏞️🌻🌹🌸☀️🌳🐦 There are always two ways to look at things and how relaxed and calm I feel right now in this moment reminds me that I definitely made the right choice in this scenario to have a positive attitude and go outside my comfort zone, take a leap of faith and make it safely across to the other side of the river, so that I could continue my beautiful walk instead of being frustrated for having to turn around.✨ When we allow faith instead of fear to guide our paths it's so much more exciting to get to see what's waiting for us on the other side.🏞️ Great video. 🙌 Absolutely loved everything about it.😊
