Animators deserve so much respect

It’s crazy considering the fact that not only did they have to animate each Spider-Man, but build the backgrounds, design every individual spider person, create a different art style for each because all of them have slightly or vastly different styles, and on top of that, about every frame in this movie is rendered and altered through photoshop to create its comic book-ish style

Want to know something even more impressive? They did that while COVID caused a worldwide lockdown, I’d say we were incredibly lucky to get this movie after only 5 years of development.

I don't know why people are making Oscars a big scene ?!?! Forget the award, the response from the fan and audience is enough to encourage the team's spirit to make more movies like this...💯🔥

The chase scene was probably my favorite scene. It was so layered, chaotic and methodical it blew my mind. I love that kind of stuff. Amazing work.

It was actually spiderpunk who took so long to animate

What makes it take long is that they designed hundreds of different spidermans, and they are ALL doing some sorta movement

I’m pretty some of that time consumption came from them probably working through the pandemic🤔

the animation is spectacular phenomenal groundbreaking and awesome this movie has to win an oscar it has to if it doesnt they dont even have one clue as to what theyre talking about

This movie better be nominated

Imagine that scene from that one anime hiroshima orphan movie. There was a scene where people were evacuating and there were at least 100 people moving: it took a while year to animate, it was in 2d and that whole entire scene lasted for 5 seconds

Now this is passion and dedication❤

This is how you know that beyond the spiderverse is goin to prob take longer than that

that's because the animators went through horrible working conditions to the point where some of them became suicidal

I mean these are professionals who can do this extremely fast plus they are on massive teams, 4 years seems like enough time to me

It took them 4 years to do maybe a single year’s worth of work due to them releasing other projects between the release of Into The Spider-Verse and Across The Spider-Verse, which is fine by the way, I just know it doesn’t take 4 years to animate a sequence that complicated as SONY claims with their chase scene.
