im sad yet happy i was there for all of this, im 42 now and i miss those times so much, ironically, the internet has ruined most of my adult life, social media, the virus of mankind. take me back to 1985 anyday.

I'm also 42. '85 and the whole decade was such a beautiful time. Such magic that we will never experience again except for clips and music like this. I believe that is were the bittersweet feelings come from friend that is a stranger

Yep the 80’s was thee best decade ever!!!! And I’m blessed to have lived in that decade! I’m 55 now and I cherish all the new wave music and all the movies!!!!

This brings me back to the happiest days of my life. I used to watch all those movies with my best childhood friend. The goonies and back to the future on repeat. Sadly he died in a tragic accident this year and this brings him back in my mind

Yo Midnight--I was a teen in the 80’s all the way through. Turned 13 in 81. Greatest Gen ever. This 80’s theme sound makes me tear up bc I want to go back so bad. 49 here gonna be 50 in a month. This was an incredible time growing up. If I could do it again I sure would "open my eyes more". It's been a hell of a ride. Glad I grew up through all this before the Internet. You had to find yourself and your spot in the world and make it yours. Could not be something you are not online now.

I had the pleaseure of seeing the Midnight live twice and I can tell you it is a life changing experience. I love the choice of movies, brings my back to my childhood.

Being born in the 80s growing up in the 90s when pogs were a thing and opening my new skateboard on Christmas mornings. Going out with all my bestfriends skateboarding with our new completes. Taking the city bus to our skate spots. Coming home to playing Nintendo. Or Friday nights going to blockbuster to rent some movies and ordering pizza. Now this stupid timeline I'm living in seems so unreal. I swear like I'm living on a different world. Boy how I miss the 90s. If you didn't get to experience the 90s I feel bad for you. Just saying!!!

We had no internet in the 80's, no cell phones to bury our faces into, so for a lot of us our free time was dominated by watching TV shows, going to the movies, reading books, listening to music. This made for a common shared experience, at least for those of middle class white America.

Wow so many memories for real! How time Flys, feel so old... So sad how this world is changing and I feel for the new generation more so. Can't beat the 80s, don't get me wrong I know there were hard times during those days especially in the mid 80s 1984 but I still remember the good times better summers, food was fresher, people were healthier!
