I think they could read eachother really well. Just they are opposite sides of similar personality. Jane is charm and disarm. Cho is someone who cuts through the tension with a direct approach.

Usually when they hug, Jane's eyes are closed and Lisbon's are open. This hug is different: she now feels entirely comfortable and safe in his affection so her eyes are closed, and he is now fully aware how much it means to him to have her in his arms thus his eyes are open. I know I sound red-string-and-corkboard, but go back and rewatch their hugs: there is a marked progression.

I think it's a sign of a great piece of art: when even the smallest details, even those that were 'plugged' here subconsciously/accidentally actually DO mean something. They mean a lot for attentive and loving eyes.

I agree I think that throughout his exile, he became aware of his lack. She was there, close to him in thought. For him the two years are nothing since she was there but not physically. She was an integral part of his exile. His real lack will manifest itself when he sees Kim when he wakes up because it's not Kim he sees, it's her. And he jumps, which is why he looks at his wedding ring. It therefore becomes his condition. And you just have to see his face and his eyes light up when they see each other again. He is dazzled. It makes me think of a song by Goldman: "And then there is you who arrives, opening my curtains wide. And the flood of light bursts forth and the beauty seems much more beautiful. And nothing really changes but everything is different". Yes, everything is different. I think this is the moment he admits to himself that he loves her

Plenty have proberly already done that. You just havent noticed or you ignored them on purpes. Seems to a thing going on for many females these days :) Most men have decited within little time if you worthy a try to be with in order to find out if it woudl work betwine you. It is you female's taking too long so we try elsewhere instead.

I think it's just so sweet how you can see him breathing a bit harder than normal when they sit down and he stares at her. Like her presence really did take his breath away.

Love how when Jane hugs Lisbon, he’s got this smile on his face. N the way he keeps looking at her after the hug. Priceless!!!

Its sweet how they keep checking each other out when they sit down and as Abbot comes in and starts talking

He did not even notice that the door was opened, he kept looking at her..

Awwww he loves her!!! The way he stares at her.. Simon baker is sooo distinguished and handsome in season 7 absolutely gorgeous!!

I loved how jane brought the entire FBI to its knees. I loved how they tried to be all "stab in his back and dont care about it already" attitude and he pulled a uno reverse card on them.

I love that "Who is this bitch?" tone Lisbon had when she saw Fischer.

I just love this scene. Both of them finally being honest with each other- I miss you. I miss you,too. They are looking at each other as if they can't believe their eyes- he/she is REALLY here Robin looks fantastic. Cho in a long sleeved shirt. Also, GET LOST KIM!!

Have to love how Abott went from hating Jane to feeling guilty about keeping secrets from then hugging Jane, all after Jane gave him Voltron.

Didn't anyone notice how horrified Lisbon looked when Jane said "Trust me"? Great acting.

Their reunion was so good. his eyes and his smile really show how much he miss her

I don't know what to say, although I want to say so much! This is the best scene ever, most emotional and full of love, yearning and sensitivity. His smile and her biting lip, aww. I'm melting.

The acting esp. from the leads was amazing on this show.

The way his hands go up immediately to hug her or touch her in 1:50 but he stops him... That idiot is so in love with her!

It's the look on her face when he says "trust me", priceless.

when he tells her "it's going to be great!", it seems like he is think "Oooooh this feels SO good, you are here, I'm healing, you are going to be by my side forever and this is going to be a great new beginning" :D

My favorite part of this arc. Jane comes in. Here are my terms. They try to "Federal Agent" him. "Whatever lock me up. I took out the Red John. What do I care. You need ME.". And he ends up getting everything he wanted. The literal beginning of Jane teaching the FBI to just shut up and play along.

Oh My God !! The hug and the way he looks at her Daaamn !!! Sooo much loove and tension in the rooom !! And That "Kim" I can smell the love triangle from here !! I hope I'm wrong !! And Lisbo sounds soo jealous Lool I can't wait to see what's going to happen next !!

"My blue heaven" is the name of the episode, which is in reference to an old song about having found tranquility and love. "Night shades falling, love birds calling What makes the world go round? Nothing but love. When whippoorwill calls And evening is nigh I hurry to my blue heaven" The episode only takes on a blue filter when Jane leaves the island and meets up with Lisbon. It becomes very prominently blue when he is stateside. The island wasn't Jane's blue heaven, Teresa Lisbon was.

Another piece of fun trivia: My blue heaven the song is not just a man going home to a woman, but a woman and baby. ☺

I understand what you're saying, but I just wanted to say that scenes are always shot twice, most of time more than twice, depends on how many point of views the scene is going to have, and if the acting is ok, maybe the directors want it a little different etc. You can't shoot this scene in one time, or you would see the camera on the other side of the room. Anyways AMAZING scene loved it loved it loved it loved it LOVED IIIIIIIITTT!!!!!

The lost look on Lisbon's face after he says, "We'll talk." lol.

They are such good actors. It is in the subtle expressions on their faces, it is in how Jane instinctively stretches out his arms to her, even though the actor knows that there is more dialog before they are supposed to hug. Perhaps it is not acting at all though. Might be their fondness for each other in real life seeping through.

Anyone notice that when Cho greets Jane as he comes in, he quickly glances at Jane's appearance and, probably quietly tutting, makes the comment that he has no socks on. 😂

Cho is so good. Tim Kang made Cho, in an ensemble where everyone else had a relationship to play off (until they wrote in the wayward hooker), he carved out a really interesting and compelling character.

what a beautiful hug between Jane and Lisbon !!!!! was so important to both of them !!!!!!

I stopped watching after 608 (didn't hate the series, I just stopped for some reason) But this scene is so well directed. The chemistry comes across very well. I'll check out the rest of the series.

That hug was a long time coming esp for Jane

Her first question was "who is she" and only then "what's a detention suite". Just like when she blew up after listening in on Jane's "interrogation" of Lorelei, the first thing she got angry for was "You kissed her!"

Gonna love Lisbon's face every time Jane says to her "Trust me!"
