Love how concise this is! I feel happiness is irrelevant though. We can live a life packed with great memories and still not become anything. Life’s about giving to others and making their lives better. Personal happiness doesn’t matter.

I mean you're right but what you said is such a small part of it. The main meaning of life, biologically and spiritually is to leave a legacy. Wether it's children, your stories and adventures, some inventions/discoveries or all of the above. It's also to serve a community and help improve life for our species in general will it be through your community or at a more large scale with social media. Also "seeking hapiness" is a terrible life philosophy that only leads to hedonism and short term pleasure. Because hapiness is such a short term feeling. We should be seeking fulfilment which will make us have more happy moments. Fulfilment is a state of mind. Happy is a feeling. We shouldn't chase feeling but state of minds. Only then can we truly be free

@@DanielXoo I understand that. You didn't understand that seeking a feeling isn't good. Because feelings are temporary. Feelings should come naturally from good experiences, not because you're "seeking" it, it makes no sense to seek feelings and it only denatures the spontaneity and realness of them, which doesn't make them even good. As I said we should be seeking things that are long lasting, like fulfilment , legacy etc.

I don't agree with what you said about happiness being short term. You said it's important to seek long lasting things like fulfilment and legacy, but won't those both lead to happiness? Happiness is a very broad term, and although there are things that lead to short term happiness such as instant gratification activities, long term happiness can be achieved by living in the present moment, practicing gratitude and following your dreams

In Islam, man's ultimate life objective is to worship the creator Allah SWT (English: God) by abiding by the Divine guidelines revealed in the Qur'an and the Tradition of the Prophet. Earthly life is merely a test, determining one's afterlife, either in Jannah (Paradise) or in Jahannam (Hell). For Allah's satisfaction, via the Qur'an, all Muslims must believe in God, his revelations, his angels, his messengers, and in the "Day of Judgment". The Qur'an describes the purpose of creation as follows: "Blessed be he in whose hand is the kingdom, he is powerful over all things, who created death and life that he might examine which of you is best in deeds, and he is the almighty, the forgiving" (Qur'an 67:1-2) and "And I (Allah) created not the jinn (demon) and mankind except that they should be obedient (to Allah)." (Qur'an 51:56). Obedience testifies to the oneness of God in his lordship, his names, and his attributes.
