The movie with Mike Myers may have been marketed as a children’s movie, but it had the result of a horror movie. Dr. Seuss’s widow hated it, and it’s because of that movie she won’t allow any more live action adaptations of her late husband’s books. I’m actually surprised they’re being allowed to make this movie, because it’s loosely based on the book.

@peterhanson3472uhm excuse me. That is my favorite movie of all time and I am highly offended. I have seen the cat in the hat so many times you could put a gun to my head and I would recite it perfectly.

I love seeing the development of David Howard Thornton (Art the Clown in Terrifier franchise) turning into a horror icon. He gives horror monsters/killers so much personality, I can't wait for this movie.

This looks like they took Jim Carrey's Grinch costume and through blood on it which I think looks pretty cool. You know what movie they need to make next? The Gremlins. I think the dark side of the Gremlins after midnight feeding would be a cool horror flick

That was the original plan for gremlins but they made it more family friendly to rake in the money. It's the same way they ruined morbius and ghost rider

We all said this about terrifier but David Howard Thornton is the next best thing can’t wait

I can actually see potential in this. Obviously, this will not be a perfect film, god no; in fact, I could see how this could go horribly wrong. But I can also see this be a fun horror parody that can deliver on the kills correctly and not take itself too seriously.

Even I have some problems with this trailer, such as both actresses for Cindy You-Know-Who not doing that good of a job at all, and some of the dialogue is cheesey, but not the fun kind. But as you said, David Howard Thornton might make this interpretation of the Grinch rather great and terrifying!

This looked like a mix between a horror comedy and an actual horror movie.
