It does and doesn’t, yes she kills her mother and sister, but chances are when mum died her soul joined the father and daughters, just as the daughters did when she died. So there is a silver lining

Spoilers At the end of this movie when Lina is out into a mental hospital for the murder of Alice and the disappearance of Dorris she basically goes insane because of the trauma and tries to contact Dorris with an ouija board she made on the floor with her own blood but she accidentally contacts a spirit pretending to be Dorris which I believe is the same spirit in the first movie which takes place after this one origins of evil is a prequel to the first one

This scene is really sad to me, Doris dies but her spirit gets to be with her dead father. But this is a prequel to the first Ouija movie so it's obvious this won't have the happiest ending.
