This is amazing! Do you mind my asking what you used for the structuring of the cake? I’ve made a lot of cakes, but only ones which use dowels or boba straws. I would love to be able to make a cake with motion!

Yes! I will say upfront that I am sure there are better ways to make it spin that are more secure but this is what worked for me in a pinch. I added the nut and washer where I wanted the head to sit and instead of securing another nut above the washer so it was sandwiched between the two nuts and wouldnt move, I left it as is. Then I added the boba straws and secured them to the washer with the tinfoil tape so that they would move with the washer as it turns. I hope that made sense lol! How do you get your exacto to NOT drag your fondant? Every time i use mine, the edges look super choppy😕

Ugh I know exactly what you mean, its the worst when it does that!! I try to make sure my blade is as clean as possible and I will wipe it off every few cuts. I also make sure to regularly change out the blade so that its never dull. If I am making a cut like I did to the top of the bottom tier of this cake, where I just need to trim away the excess, I will chill the cake for 15-20 minutes so that my fondant/modelling chocolate is firm and less likely to drag.
