just put your own meaning to it.. i asked the guitarist and he told me something like that.. and that it's some kind of dreamlike special place or mood, they called peridon to the moment they where playing and felt a "connection".. just recalling from memory it was some time ago

Hell yeah, Fair to Midland is awesome - Arrows & Anchors was spectacular. Any sort of progressive rock fan should also at least check out Porcupine Tree (see: Trains, Arriving Somewhere (But Not Here), Shesmovedon) and Devin Townsend (see: Canada, Storm, Lady Helen). Definitely the two acts "leading the scene" at the moment.

@WizardDoom yhea its kinda sad but sometimes is good cause this type of bands keep making badass music, and some of the other bands when they get known a little more sometimes they turn so commercial that they start making music just for money and they dont care too much about the music they make.

I love Fair to Midland! Nobody knows about them either. Thank you for suggesting them--they need to be bigger, too. Oh, and Jcm, I have found that Pandora is a great way to find music like that, I just got into it bc of my friends and it really has helped. That's how I found about about Fair to Midland's new album I've been waiting for forever lol. You may want to try Taproot as a band, too.

Who's to say what real music is.:/ The composers of the Baroque era would say this music is terrible because of all the rules it has broken.
