@@rugawakhoid9881 Physics in the matrix don't effect Neo he can do anything he can teleport too but in the movie they didn't include it they just didn't want to make him too owerpowered bc he would be unchallenged. Smith is his equal so that's why he couldn't just defeat him.

I think that ending to the first Matrix film is possibly the coolest ending to any film ever. It's really, really good. Good enough that Keanu probably said "woah" when he saw it.

Well hey, Superman does have that Black Suit of his. With his symbol that is silver. But hey instead of wearing the Superman suit, Clark can just wear his Regular clothing, like his black pants, with a black suit and black tie, put on his glasses during a dark stormy night, boom.

@@svsv9 wasn’t it mentioned though that the matrix was too complex to be visualized and had to always be shown encrypted? The fight between morpheus and neo happened in a sparring program in the construct, a much simpler program, which is why it was visualized. Something like that?

I remember an alternate version of Batman in the comics who's literally Superman raised by the Waynes. He's even darker and more brutal than the OG Batman.

Fun Fact: *Morpheus’s actor Fishburne would eventually play as Perry White in Superman’s movie Man of Steel*

5:20 The cars just sort of floating around behind him, bumping off the buildings like they are in Zero-G with the camera centered on Neo's face is so cool. Looks like they probably did Neo by having him lay down or on wires or something and then just comped him in because he looks so much better here than when he's obviously full CG.

Actually, if you look at the BTS documentaries, they describe how they had some problems with the technology getting the shot together, it kept melting down their GPUs. They eventually solved it at the last minute by just asking Keanu Reeves to fly down the main street of a crowded city late at night in costume at supersonic speed with a camera rig attached to him pointing backward, and they just edited out the rig. It's the mark of a great actor that he was cool enough to do that even after principal photography had ended.

i'm rewatching this in 2020 and fuck, those are some nice shots, Trinity breaking the window and aiming the weapons at the agent. and the still image of Neo with the cars behind is insanely well made.

When i was still a kid i used to own a sick ass notebook with this 5:05 scene on the front cover than changes colors and Neo coal from different point of views making it look like he's flying. That was a sick ass notebook. I cried when i was forced to throw it away because was full. I took the cover because was too cool and then my parents threw it away went i move out to go to college

The scene of him walking out of the phone booth is so damn cool.

Reloaded was so badass. I know it had some flaws, and the CGI wasn't the best, but for the early 2000's the cgi was pretty damn good and some of the most badass parts made up for the flaws...such as Neo flying so fast all the cars were bouncing around behind him...that shit was crazy. I can't help but think how many people did he kill doing this...but still super badass scene...and when he flew from the mountains and saved Morpheus...man they did way better on reloaded than they did on Matrix 3 or 4. They fucked up 3 and 4 BAD like those movies could have been so much better.

The ending of Part 1 will forever be a cult classic! Love it! Reloaded was a beautiful follow up showing us Neo's full potential. Revolutions never should have happened.

For sure! However, in the original clip where you can see more of Trinity's bullets, some of them do hit the agent in the chest area (he can't warp-dodge when falling). They're not enough to take him out and spawn him elsewhere though.

Damn. I grew up with this movie thinking of it as an epic cool action flick. I never thought Matrix was a 2 movie keep people's emotions in check.

The kid from the first movie was right: there is no spoon. The matrix isn’t real, it doesn’t *have* to obey the laws of physics. Hence the kid can bend spoons and Neo can fly & catch Trinity without turning her into a smashed bug on a windshield. The part that has never made sense to me is why Neo fights at all. He can literally stop bullets and he exploded Smith in the first movie. He can manipulate the code of the matrix. He could render any other entity inside it powerless and instead we get these cool fight scenes lol.
