Harrison is a TRUE WARRIOR.. His INCOGNITO style on the playing field made him a LEGEND.. He set his family members up with businesses of their own in PHILLY. He could have easily turned his back on his hometown, but chose to BUILD new establishments to empower his own people. A lot of times, this can backfire with situations like this happening.

Marvin made it clear to Pops that he didn't want him and his drugs in his establishments, Pops should have honored Marvin request and walked away. Instead he threatened him and said he was going to take care of him. If a gangster tells you that usually you can count on it. You have to do what you have to do Marvin came from those streets too he could hide behind his celebrity for a while buy eventually pops would have got him. So Marvin did what he had to do and thats how you have to look at it.

I remember this story being on ESPN and a couple other programs and the narrative was basically that Harrison was a gangster terrorizing people in the streets. This is my take on this. Marvin was a quiet and disciplined man who was attached to his roots. He enjoyed being around people from his home town and even opened up some businesses there. Problem was, when Marvin came across thugs, that had bad intentions for him, he resorted to street justice. I understand that this may be common practice in the hood, and that there is a kind of street-code that you don't snitch to police, it does not align well with the justice system. I do not see Marvin as a bad person after seeing this, as I think he felt he was defending his life, but I think he made bad decisions.

I work as a police officer in this exact neighborhood. It's very difficult to solve a murder unless we get it on surveillance cam or eye witness by someone very trustworthy. Everybody is outside looking at the dead body on the ground....I mean the whole block. Little kids with their parents and everything like it's a show. The second the detectives pull up the street clears out, porch lights go off, and suddenly know one is home when you knock on the door. The anonymous tip line business cards we hand out to everyone in the area end up littered all over the street. That's just life here.

sadly that happens in lot of those areas. They don't trust the police, the police don't trust the people there, they don't want to get involved. Damn if you want to kill someone and you put paper tags on your vehicle and wear a mask you can get away with murder literally.

Terrell Owens was a diva. However, he was involved in far fewer conspiracies to murder his enemies, to be fair.

Exactly, TO had no out side of football troubles, but they used the "diva" thing against him to keep him from being a first ballot HOF like he deserved. People can say what they want about TO, but you can bet your last penny that he's going to give you 110% and then more on game day. I mean, the man made the doctors cleared him for the Eagles Superbowl against the Patriots, and had well over 100 receiving yards that game.

Years ago in Hawaii during the Pro Bowl week a friend of Harrison and him were involved in an incident with a teenaged fan. Police were called. There was only reported in the Press for one day. I was in Hawaii for the Pro Bowl. There was no follow up reporting on the incident.
