Inspiration behind this video:
New marketing for The Mandalorian season 3 features Pedro Pascal's Din Djarin unmasked, a potential tease that the Star Wars Disney+ TV show will see the character choose not to wear his helmet. Most films and TV shows market themselves in part on the actor's face, but The Mandalorian has traditionally been an exception to the rule. This is because Din Djarin, the central character, was brought up in a Mandalorian sect who forbid their members from removing their helmets in the presence of others. The Book of Boba Fett set Din on a quest for redemption after unmasking on his mission to save his ward, Grogu, from the Empire. The trailer for The Mandalorian season 3 confirmed Din will continue this quest, heading to the Mandalorian homeworld.
The cover for the latest issue of Empire Magazine sees Pedro Pascal's Din Djarin without his helmet, stood next to Katee Sackhoff's Bo-Katan Kryze - a Mandalorian who is seeking to reclaim the throne of Mandalore. Din is holding the Darksaber, the traditional weapon claimed by the rightful ruler of Mandalore, which he accidentally came in possession of in The Mandalorian season 2. They are also joined by Grogu, the founding rescued by Din Djarin, who has chosen to abandon his Jedi training to remain with his father figure.

@@jameskinstle6874 Yeah, I know it’s been about 3 decades since The Clone Wars at this point, but people usually don’t forget things like taking over Mandalore with the help of rogue Sith and then watching your leader get beheaded by Darth Maul.

Ugh so much they need to fix with that show... its like who greenlit the speeder gang bikes as flashy mopeds? Besides Tatooine being a harsh sandy, windy desert... a moped gang fits better on coruscant or whatever. Let alone the tactics in that final battle with the droideka... ugh lame.
Who else is hoping for a Thrawn after credits scene in the season finale?

@@BanksHicks Thrawns been around since the 80's. He's been on novel and comic covers for just over 30 years. Ive known thrawn 15 years before lucas sold to Disney. You're in for a treat, you'll love him!

@@manu1434u You know I laugh when people talk about Andor. Great concept that took too long to tell. Could have been 8 episodes and would have been better. But even more is how everyone says Andor is great because it got away from the Jedi, Sith and lightsabers. And I’m over here thinking Andor is Star Trek and Buck Rogers set in the Star Wars universe. Like I don’t get excited because there’s no Jedi. That’s what made Star Wars standout from other sci fi

haha exactly, but they are both somehow in their late 30s/early 40s? Bo has been deflecting responsibility and blaming others for a minute now. I hope she doesnt't obtain the darksaber tho. Don't get me wrong, shes a great character but it would be more of an interesting twist if it was someone else to reunify mandalore. Someone like Grogu even.

What are those ships chasing him at the very beginning through the asteroids? Reminded me of old-school Cylon Raiders at first....I mean, I know they're not, but that was the vibe that design gave me.
I hope they release like 2 or 3 episodes when it comes out. 1 will not be enough to be waiting a whole week to see what happens next.

@@SuperOverlord94 Its 1 thing to show Mando-s old ship from prev. seasons. It feels very different to show Boba-s pretty much legendary ship and then NOT bring Boba for even few scenes. But obv. i dont KNOW what happens for sure - it would just feel like huge mistake/lie to put Boba-s ship there otherwise. 🤨
For waiting so long hope they release all the series episodes,they should make a movie!

Nothing will be more badass than seeing am adult grogu with full mandalore armor and a light saber or darksaber alongside djinn with a beskar weapon. I'm sure that's what most people want as well.

Do we know how long it takes him to grow up? If grogu is 50 now, djinn may be long dead by the time hes grown :(

Beskar isn't used for weapons, only armor. This is the way.

In summary Luke sensed Grogu was conflicted with being a Jedi and being with The Mandalorian. Thus Luke gave Grogu a choice to follow the Jedi path and commit fully to the training or go back to The Mandalorian. Grogu chose the ladder.

@@clalam5241 lol it's a show... basically mandolorian season 2.5 so if you watch mandolorian and plan to watch season 3 you might want to watch the book of bobba fett basically 2 or 3 whole episodes that you can't miss out on.

I still don't understand when Bo Katan says "you thought your father was the only Mandalorian?" Like what, Grogu has bene around several other Mandalorians. I really hope that isn't a major plot point and is instead a throw away line for the trailer.
The arc is the Mandolorian teachers Groku both ways to become a Master of both ways. This is the way 🙏✌️🇦🇺

I feel that this series is channelling the archetype of 'Lone Wolf and Cub,' the Japanese manga classic? In that comic book the 'cub' went about in a cart. Here Grogu levitates. Just my thoughts.
