Yeah, they did the major scale solo in the middle shorter, and the opened up on the minor scale solo at the end. Very good, but I think the keyboard and guitar bridge section they did on War Pigs was more creative.

The first thing everybody thinks about when listening to this song is David Gilmour's profound artistic expression in his solos and if the guitarist covering them will be able to even come close to that level of "feeling", and whether those licks will be honored or just repeated. Max does as good a job at honoring David's work as anyone possibly could. From a sound guy, the mixing was exceptional. From a Pink Floyd junkie, this rendition was special in every way.

The way that Max and the drummer battles is wild. It really contributes to the build up of the peak of the song/guitar solo and really feeds both musicians that energy to use their imaginations and creativity within the song 🤯

Easily my favorite non-Gilmour comfortably numb solo I’ve yet heard. Max’s guitar playing is virtually 85% or more of the reason I listen to their videos. The rest of the band is talented as well and they do all gel together pretty well but his guitar playing and the drumming is usually just on another level altogether.

Man, everyone’s talking about the guitar solo - as a fellow guitarist, yea that was stellar but that drummer led him to the promise land. He was beautiful to witness, with a drummer backing you up like that…it really opens up the creativity. I wish they would pan over to the bassist more, those lines he was putting down were great.

How you all manage to harness lightning in a bottle with damn near every re-imagining you've put up, live and on video, is astonishing. Got chills yet again listening to Max, Rob and Reuben laying down some serious firepower. Props to every single one of you and especially who ever mixed this live and set up the recording equipment. Hands down one of the only acts out there, I know of, with enough talent to not only do Floyd justice but improve upon them. Everything you guys have touched is gold and the chemistry you have is something special.

Max standing in the back quietly for the first 2/3 of the performance and then setting everything on fire at the end has Prince playing While My Guitar Gently Weeps energy. When it's not his spotlight, he needs none of it, when it IS his moment, I couldn't imagine the moment belonging to anyone else. There are about 5 people on earth who can play that solo differently than the recording and enhance the magic instead of ruin it, and one of the is David Gilmour himself. Max is another. You've got the magic, man. It's not technique or knowledge, though you have those things too, but it's just that magic that makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up from only the sound of an electric guitar. Thanks for reminding me why I play.
