😮😮😮 holy moly Joanna 👌👌👌 plucking things from the abyss ALL THE TIME... definitely creates a void in reality!!🙏 I find it beneficial to only stay in this archetype for a time and LITERALLY have to pull myself out with some King/Queen archetype to solidify and discipline the awesome that I just pulled out of NOWHERE! I started this journey as a trickster, manipulator and a fool..... But now.... I swear to the great unknown crazy universe .... I'm evolving as a Healer and a Magician of sorts... I just see a Magician in the book as someone who can consume a lot truth all the time, do calculations and get it right and successful, know a lot because of constant learning, thinking feels good rather than painful; is creative, meaning able to generate a lot of good options quickly for the situation, but are not good at clear thinking when they believe they will get injured. Basically a powerful logical mind in low to medium consequence situations like rocket scientists, server technicians, engineers, based on the book's categorization, Elon Musk may be a "Magician-Warrior-King". Intuition is just a quick emotional bias, "cognitive shortcut", we commit to something pleasurable, like love, then we ignore the facts that this girl may be manipulative. Real intuition is an intense focus on the other person or animal's body language and facial expression to sense how they are feeling, then you can assume if you feel that way in that situation, what would you be thinking, to guess what they are thinking

I don’t know how to explain how I feel at times 71 years old,sometimes very confused but never afraid (sage?) ,I believe age does contribute greatly toward understanding your difference,yet I do not believe that it is the determining factor.(I can relate to the character Xyzoo from the movie Lion King) who knows...HaHa I do know that it is not bad,that is all that matters to me,this information is amazing. Since it's an archetype - yes, it belongs to the collective unconscious. And the power might be from the process, rather than a static symbol, of how the collective and human meaning of this archetype (and all others) evolves overtime. At least that's how I understand it!

Hi Joanna , hope u r well , I found this post very interesting and alittle confusing , I'm assuming the information is coming from a text book or some other writings , also that you must have connected with the information or I don't believe you would have presented it to us , I don't know it just doesn't feel accurate to me , I see the mage as a very manipulating energy , full of ego and self importance , even in its balanced state ,( an example would be those involved in the laws of attraction ) mixed strongly with the child lacking complete wisdom on the effect it might be having on those around it , to me the sage is the end game , a mix of all the other archetype , aware that any manipulation will effect others , any action will effect other ,that we are all connected in some way at some point , that as the other archetypes evolve and become balanced they are integrated into the sage , the sage knows that life will unfold in the best manner and time if we can just stay present and aware , the sage knows when to be the healer the fool or the mage , ruler or child , to most this seems very mysterious and otherworldly , to me the sage seems more connected to the creator and a mix of all else ?? , Joanna please where am I wrong ? Am I seeing things to black and white ? I love your wisdom and would like to hear your thoughts . Take care . Namaste 8 ) . P.s maybe this is more a reflection on my personality and beliefs then actual reality ?

Hey, I don't think that you are wrong at all - it's all relative in a sense. In fact, some people see the sage and the magician as one and the same archetype. I disagree with that but it doesn't mean only my perspective is valid. I can see how the sage could be a more evolved version of the magician - so the positive elements I described in this video could be easily applied to the sage archetype. And in this case the magician could be easily contained within the sage archetype. When talking about archetypes, I think there are other forces at play - our historical and cultural background, as well the personal sphere with our principles and hierarchy of values. I find it quite difficult to remove myself from that so that my perspective will be always biased by my own experience. Also, I'm not sure about your age, but this is something to consider too - maybe I cannot see that far into the future and maybe your perspective is more accurate than mine. On the other hand, if not my experience, it would be hard for me to see these archetypes as I wouldn't be able to relate to any of that. So bear that in mind - my perspective is biased, hence when I can, I emphasise 'in my opinion' or 'I think' when recording the videos. Take care and thank you for sharing :)

Thank you Joanna , I couldn't give your reply a thumbs up , it would only let me write a reply , I understand where u r coming from as everything is bias and coloured by our perspective , I have found myself questioning my own perspective lately as I try to understand new information that just doesn't fit into a normal range of experience , I also understand that just because something isn't normal doesn't mean it's invalid , I'm sure in time the puzzle will come together . The magician is a male archetype not a women- archetype
