Thanks so very much for sharing this beauty. .. I looove it, México still so beautiful and should be more like in the 50s but we have the most horrible government in the world, I just hope someday that change, because such beautiful country deserves a better gobernantes.

Is the Mexico City of early 1960s, because the Angel of Independence appears here in minute 03:48 is after its rebuild works after 1957 Earthquake. The modern skyscraper behind it is the 19-story Maria Isabel Sheraton Hotel build in 1959-1962.

Que padre era mi México. La gente se respetaba (en general), no había sobrepoblación. Las personas se arreglaban para salir. Ya parece que iban a salir en chanclas, pants, con cachucha, sin bañarse, y sin rasurar. No imperaban las corrientadas, como ahora. Las cumbias y la música primitiva por el estilo, sólo la escuchaba la gente muy ignorante y de baja estofa. Hasta los humoristas se preocupaban por mantener un buen nivel. No había narcos, y ni pensar que la gente idolatrrara a delincuentes. En fin. . Paraíso perdido.

¡Hay mi Mexico que te paso! Te extrano de todos modos.... quiero pascado a las brazas en Telchac Puerto, Yucatan o coctel de camaron fresco y pan de cazon en Champoton, Campeche, quiero el "desayuno de estudiante" en Los Portales de San Francisco de Campeche o salbutes y panuchos de "La Lupita" cerca de la avenida Cupules en Garcia Gineres o una timba de "La Reina de Montejo" o un helado de crema morisca y un merengue de "El Colon". Aqui nomas hay pura pinche comida rapida: basura engordadora. Ya de perdido si voy a engordar que sea con tamal de brazo de reina, no con un pi.... sandwich de carne grasosa artificial y llena de x'la quimicos.
