They won’t kill foreigners in daylight but robberies in daylight aren’t unheard of at all, especially daylight shootings between gangs were some civilians get caught in the crossfire. Most people who don’t live in dangerous areas think that since it’s day time, the worst can’t happen when it actually still can. well when it comes to normal crime like robbing and stuff it might very well be, violent crime is more prevalent in northern cities like ciudad juarez, tijuana or the whole tamaulipas state, it happens between cartel members mostly though.

i bet like any dodgy place in any city. drugs, pickpocketing, hookers, bunch of drunk people, some fights. but you wont be shot on sight or get robbed in front of everyone on a daily basis in every hour. i have few dodgy districts, streets even in my city...guess what it was dodgy until i was a kid, back then everyone wanted to scare me and get my money, phone. now as an adult its not so likely some goons go after you. but of course stay safe and better not look for trouble anywhere

Bahaha. I literally just commented on this neighborhood on your video about Bolivia's most dangerous neighbourhood. I have friends who live there, they say don't go at night, but the day is OK. They can walk there at night since everyone knows them. Last time we were in CDMX we stayed at a hotel just a few blocks from Plaza Garibaldi where the mariachis are.
