I was shocked when I saw the last video of a rod maker showing the lure retrieval rod trick. But thanks for explaining the mechanics of the trick.

I lose lures all the time. I'd never try this though. My luck, I'd lose my 25 year old ugly stick.

Not worth the risk for me i risk breaking/losing a 200$ st croix rod to get back a 15 to 30$ lure

Tried that lost my pole don’t do it on the bank
