That Sea Lion is literally just a domesticated dog. Waiting patiently for food, sitting practically underneath everyone's feet. Truly Seals are the doggos of the sea.

I don't know why this makes me smile. The sea puppies are so cute!

@@1000shoeswoman I was there 3 years ago and saw with my own eyes. Those sea lions are really well-behaved. And they also like to sleep on the benches nearby, sometimes even sharing those benches with people.

@@Squashed8Ball It's amazing to see how the sea lions squirm their way up to the bench (as we all know, they have no real arms and legs so to speak of)

These animals ain't dumb. Why hunt for food when it's readily available if all you gotta do is hang out with the humans? You can especially see how the sea lion has learned and understands the etiquette of hanging out in the market. There's ample opportunities to be a thief, but they've learned if you just sit and wait patiently you'll literally get handed the food right into your mouth. Talk about living the easy life.

It has learned it will get shooed off it it takes something, but if it waits it gets something. Pretty smart animals to learn to wait for a reward when they could get immediate gratification.

Those sea lions must be absolutely spoiled from eating such a diverse selection of fish. Haha
