Jacque Bodley There are countless cases of men who were killed by their girlfriend or wife. Some examples are Ryan Poston murdered by a woman he was casually dating because he was planning to go on a date with another woman, Douglas Gissendaner, Gregory de Villers (the American Beauty murder case) and Mike Williams who had been missing for years and it turned out he was murdered by his wife and best friend who were having an affair and murdered him for insurance money.

Catherine didn’t deserve to leave this world in such a selfish and terrible way . I hope she’s resting well now 😢 she was beautiful and the way she passed was so sad i wish it didn’t happen .

Caf was my friend and we dated for a while too. She was such a beautiful, sweet person. The nicest person ever. The last time I spoke to her she was so excited about buying her new house and her new job. I still can’t get my head around how someone could do that to her. I drive past where her car was found several times a week and every time I hate it. RIP Caf x

And THIS is why I have paranoia. You can never know if someone is plotting your murder. Bump into a random person on the train, and sure they could be normal and accept it as an accident, or they could stalk you for weeks, planning to murder you. You never know what a stranger's mental state is like.

How scary and sad is it that usually murders it is someone you KNOW, someone you TRUST.

I think it's funny how oftentimes in cases where the killers plan some elaborate scheme to commit murder and "get away with it," what they are really doing is setting up a long chain of evidence that bites them in the ass in the end.

I lived in Chard when this happened, I didn't know Catherine, but did know a lot of her family in the area. The whole town was devastated! Her grandmother who has since died made a shrine to Catherine in her garden she called it Catherine's garden and put plants and butterflies all around. My daughter also went to Bath Spa University.

Eleanor's eyeliner is bigger than my future and I'm ok with that.

Many things to say:: 1.) I did NOT thing Rafael was going to be the one to hurt her. When Eleanor said that her parents welcomed him into their home my heart broke bc last year, when my partner died, their parents welcomed me into their home for months and took care of me. And Rafael took advantage of someone’s kindness. Heartbreaking. 2.) every time Eleanor gets stuck in a term and giggles and mumbles my heart swells. She’s so kind and sweet and I love Eleanor and all the hard work she puts into her videos 💛💛

I just love that she tells the stories as if she was there or as if she interviewed them personally! She includes those details that don’t matter in the case but matter in the story !! Love it🥰

I think you should make a video on Wilma Andersson from Sweden. She was a seventeen year old girl murdered by her boyfriend Tishko Ahmed. He has been officially charged as of 2020 but the murder took place in 2019. The boyfriend has been obsessive over Wilma and among other things had a phone app to track her and didn't allow her to wear certain clothing. The saddest part about this case at least in my opinion is that Wilma's body have never been found, except her decapitated head, which was in the boyfriend's closet in the apartment they shared. In Sweden plea deals are illegal (they don't want false confessions) so her body may never be found. Most articles on the case are in swedish, but there is a lot of articles in English as well.

A girl called Jayden Parkinson died in my town a few years ago. She was found buried in the local graveyard at the grave of the killers grandfather. Haven’t heard anything about it and her mums done some amazing charity work! I think you covering the case would bring so much light to the good her mums done

She went to my school, I don’t know too much about the case but her mum had kicked her out of the family home. She had told her boyfriend she was pregnant and he murdered her. A really heartbreaking case and her mum now helps children who have been kicked out of their homes! I think the whole towns been really effected by the case. We had another murder more recently where a man (Jed Allen) killed his sister, mum and her boyfriend. This was literally a 2 minute walk from my home and also a really shocking case to research!

There are plenty of people who use Tinder to find long term relationships. There is even a thing on it to say if you are looking for something long term, something short term, whatever, and can get matched with people who have the same thing in their bio

this will probably get lost in the comments but here's a case recommendation. eleanor i love your vids and i figured since you seldom do cases outside the UK or US, theres one interesting one from China! its called the Nanping primary school massacre and it occured in 2010. this case hit really close to home as i was born there, and my mom personally knew someone who was a witness. i dont know if there's a lot to research in english but i've seen some articles. thanks for all your hard work that you put in to bring us such good content!!

We live in a world where people genuinely believe that killing someone and going to prison for life is easier than just leaving them. Idiots. Funny how people who kill their spouses to be with another person would kill for each other, but not go to jail for each other.

I thought the same thing when I saw the title but once I started listening to the video, I realized that they are two different cases. ☺️

eleanor, please consider doing a video on the delphi murders. it’s a cold case but it’s very suspicious because the victims caught video footage and audio of their killer before their death, and happened in an area of a population of less than 3k. it’s almost been four years, and there’s still no answers. it would be amazing if you could raise awareness on your platform to help bring the girls’ families justice.

this is actually scarily near my house, one of my best friends grandparents live in chard, this is actually terrifying, you don’t just decide that you “don’t want your kids anymore” that’s not how being a parent works

I really appreciate your pronunciation of Anna's surname. I'm not Polish so I'm not sure if it's 100% accurate in the language of origin, but as a Slavic person (and a language professional), this sounds perfect to me. I'm Serbian and many of Serbian surnames also end in -ich (-ić in Serbian or -icz in Polish) and the way you pronounce it would be the way we pronounce it as well. It's usually botched when pronounced in English which is why I'm impressed with your pronunciation. Love from Serbia ❤️

I wash just the one pillowcase that has the most contact with my face at least once a week, it keeps dust from collecting on it and making me sneezy, I guess I'll just have to abstain from becoming a murder suspect so that it doesn't look suspicious lmao

My absolute pet peeve is doing a load of regular laundry with sheets or a blanket, only to discover that a shirt or something got tangled up in it and didn't get washed well or dried. So I change my sheets more often, but then when I have 2 or 3 (if I've been busy) sets ready for the wash I just do a full "bedding" load every 6 ish weeks.
