his voice is so angelic the first time he sings music

I so love this show. The other night when I saw the episode where Kyle gets hit by the car I knew it had killed this character, but when Jimmy sang this song I cried and cried and then cried some more. It brought back very sweet memories of my losses-my grandma, aunts, uncles and a score of others I miss so much. Thank you SMASH for a very tender moment in television. Congrats JIMMY. Great song Marc.

This song was just so beautiful and really drove the character development it really made you feel for all the characters and their struggles with themselves. such a beautiful song

I would buy the entire series but they won't release it. Damn shame.

Watched all of the smash episode again.. finished the last episode last night and cried my eyes out over this scene. My friend died in a car accident a month ago and this song broke my heart. It's so emotional and so true. Now I can't stop listening!

Oh this is a heartbreaking song And Mr. Jeremy Jordan I can't. The emotion that comes through just his voice, but especially with his acting in the show Mmhmm I definitely have problems with the show, and this episode in particular (They just did so much wrong, but this was one good thing) (and the convenience of this song being in "Hit List") but on it's own maaaan i'm definitely crying

It sucks that sometimes we only get one chance to show someone what they actually mean to us. Sometimes it's best to wipe the tears away and move forward, not backwards

Cried like such a baby when I heard this song...it was heartbreaking but sooooo beautiful!

This song is so unbelievably stunning. The first time I heard it I was just staring at my screen sobbing silently, it just has so much power and emotion attached to it. It's breathtaking. I think it has more impact than a typical love ballad due to the fact that it was sung by a male, who is often very guarded and hidden in regards ro his emotions and feelings, singing about his regrets to his best friend. It's so rare to find a song with this much soul and meaning with some of today's rubbish.

I feel such a strong "Muse" vibe outta this song.. Like it's some sort of a dramatic melody as a bonus track on one of their CD's. Especially during this part: 2:02 It's amazing.. whenever I hear it, I'm just filling up with tears. It's hauntingly beautiful.

Having recently lost my partner to cancer, this artist with this composer feels SO very painfully real and yet honest and beautifully tragic....all of which I am still feeling about my deceased partner! Thanks for a great cry and some grieving.

What beautiful words to sing to a loved one who is no longer with you.

This is my song to my grandma :/ we haven't spoken in months since our huge argument where we both said some bad things to each other and she just passed ... I wish I could've gone to her a few weeks ago and made amends like I wanted to but I didn't and now it's too late :'( I miss her so much and I will never get the chance to tell her how much I truly loved her and how I'm sorry for what happened ...

Jk, Jesse is the character in a Hit List that Jimmy plays. Jimmy is Jesse and Karen is Amanda...didn't really pay attention to these details since I was so obsessed over Karen and Jimmy lol.

Kyle I loved his character he was an angel in the cast he made mistakes but did his best to make everyone happy grr smash writers suck

I think it might be either about Kyle or Karen or both. Personally I think it's both because the verses (in my opinion) alternate between both of them. One thing's for sure is it's a pretty well written song about regret T_T

There are a couple of lyrics that are incorrect. FIrst verse: "The love I LEFT to show some other day". Third verse: before YOU, not your Fourth verse: GOLD THAT (not golden) I would gladly pay Fifth verse: hear should be "HERE" It would be great if you could fix these. Thanks!!

dark fist Jimmy is a good guy with a really bad temper. He’s a hot mess. Definitely nothing like Ellis and Jerry. He fucked up bad at the bar, yes but it doesn’t mean he’s awful.
