I'd go with the Zuma. Mostly because I think they look better, but I've also been told I'm an idiot so ya know...take that for what it's worth? lol

I did the same thing. Bought one for a 150cc and added a piece donut fits my 50cc. Took mine to a welder though since I don’t have anything to weld it here.

Back when I first started riding scooters when I was a teenager the Honda elite was the baddest thing on the street

I have a 50cc Tao Tao and I only have one stud on my exhaust too bahaha what a coincidence, been like that for 1500 miles 😂

That's so crazy I ran into the exact same problem you did with your exhaust but you have more tools and the ability to do that I didn't I had to get someone else to do it and I ended up scrapping it and getting the exact right exhaust that fit so Kudos even for doing that I wish I had the ability to have done custom otherwise I would have but that's so crazy we ran into the same issue

@@throttle_therapy amen to this. My 11yr old scooter needs a new exhaust (among other things) and finding one that i'm fairly sure is going to fit has been a bitch. not to mention expensive cause i'm trying to replace things with better parts (i'm glaring at you cvt...)

@@fthrgasp it's surprising that nobody has done it yet. For how many people have these gy6 scooters, you would make a ton of money if you could fab up a good fitting kit and sell it for under 100 bucks

I didn't check the comments and somebody's probably already said it, but... I can almost guarantee the reason that downpipe wasn't tall enough is the same reason that it had spring tabs and the exhaust tip didn't. That's a 150 downpipe and a 50cc tip.

where did u get the metal piece on ur carb for ur powerfilter to go sideways?

love yalls videos! just getting into doing my first 2 scooter builds. i got a 50cc gy6 ruckus clone, and a 250cc lance duke. have you guys ever checked out some bosozoku scooter builds or some of the japanese lowrider scooters? i plan on making a lowrider outa my 250.

Your a scooter or moped gy6 mechanic I have chinese scooter 50cc it sounded good before I been working it all stock and now it sounds like supercharged scooter I don't why it's whistling at me please tell me why People say it sucking to much air

I have a 2019 tao tao pony. I just want out the Amazon cdi kit on. What should I do next? By the way it did give me about 4 more mph and better acceleration. I totally like your videos btw

The Flames out of that would be.... KEYBANG IT (on mine keybanging works best at almost top speed. Doesn't shoot flames on the stand without load.)

Lol, air,gas n jets. Then you need to actually put down KZread and learn how to install and monitor your progress. Efi should be used on all engines. Why they still use carburetion is all corporate. Carbs are stone age and why they are on any bike post 2010 beats me.....

@@MrZap773 the crank bearing and on this style of crank you have to replace the whole crank i think the pistons honestly just too much for the bottom end to handle

Shouldn't have happened after 2 tanks. I have about 2000km on my 100bbk and 8200 on the engine. I'm putting a 41.4 naraku crankshaft on my spare engine case. I'm building a second while I run what's on it. Good luck!

@@Manwichman Right?! i was shocked it was a 52mm with a npn egr head literally 3200 on bottom end and 2 tanks on big bore killed the crank was good before the kit

Gy6 is the style/type of engine. They come in a few different sizes!

the only way to make a 50cc gy6 scooter actually fast is a 150cc gy6 swap, costs like 300$ if you want a new engine and takes relatively low effort... and doesn't ruin your fuel economy

I’ve gotten mine to cruise at 35-40 just with a new carb and ethanol free gas. Down a hill I hit 50-55
