@@vehtty_Same here! I spent almost all day practicing this damn song alone. I was able to finally find a good way to nail almost every note but, the speed makes my fingers curl up and fuck up anyway 😂

I just passed it on hard without a power up. It is possible. The strategy involves the strum bar. If used incorrectly it won’t read all your notes. Follow the beat of the song. I have been trying forever to pass it.

Here's the trick that I used as some parts don't necessarily translate to other players. You must get both star powers at the beginning which playing that section over and over makes it easier. Once you get to the mosh, you strum at the start of each string (B,Y,R,G then O,B,Y,R). If you strum on those notes, it makes it way easier. Hell, I got the star power in there with meaning to. At that point, the rest of the song is an endurance test until the solo. You should have maximum star power, so if you save yourself if you can play the solo that well. I hope to make a video where I make a detailed explanation of what I've said. The video here did help me a lot, so take influence from as many you can. Maybe something will click. Anyway, I'm going to get back to trying to beat Jordan or Satch Boogie.

To get better at the first fast part (where you suggest only paying attention to the middle three notes) would be to practice just practice B-Y-R-G over and over until you can do it fast enough, and then to practice shifting your hand up and down while doing that, and then you've got it.

This is the Wii version. The Wii version has the GH2 miss sounds. PS2 has the default GH3 miss sounds.

i hate this song =[ its the last expert career song i need. good vid i hope its helps me i'll try the song again tommorow. one strange thing though is ican get through mosh 1 most of the time without sp but usually fail on the verse after it. my best so far is 85% through

@@yoda301 Yep I did it I just learned the pattern by trying that movement over and over I hit most of the notes in most but when I was about to turn red I quickly did star power and it saved me and I got past it then the rest of the song is really short

I always have the worst trouble at the mush 1 I just can't figure out how to nail it.

By the way,Mosh 1 on this song,Is just 4 notes going down the fretboard (and easy way to see notes easier,go to cheats,put in hyperspeed and speed on 3-5,go to practice mode,go to this song,put the speed on slowest,youll see what I mean)

With taco (elbow) strumming and a lot of practice, it's not too bad to get the hang of Mosh 1 using two hands to alternate between the descending quads

an easy way to do hard rain: 1:time it right,go to practice mode to practice mode to practice this part... 2:gallop in strumming,its hard at first,but I found it easy,and I can FC all parts of this song except Mosh 1 and some parts of Flood!ITs a bit easier once you can gallop...

Just work on mosh 1 trust me you'll get it eventually, lol I got it about five minutes after posting the comment and I can now nearly 5 star it! =] make sure you can get a good percent on slow so you know how to hit it aswell. You'll also need star power for the flood which is harder than mosh1 so try to save it good luck and I hope my exceptionally long comment helped! =]

incredibly late but i think with a lot of the parts where they 'overstrummed' it was just them repeatedly strumming instead of doing gallops in hard rain, not strumming fast enough before flood, strumming through verse 1 or whatever its called, etc
