I own the white dial Falcon II and just got the new Neptune IV - classy, beautiful watches, both of them! The value and the care with which they iterate on their designs is truly impressive. They're all neo-vintage with recognizable design cues, but none of their watches feel derivative to me in any way. Lorier has a way of satisfying my watch cravings - it'll be quite some time I think before I feel the need to add another to my collection, and when I do, at this rate it just might be another Lorier!

Can’t agree more friend. I also had the Neptune. Older, I believe mine was the ll variant. Loved it. Might have to get the lV date. Looks amazing

This is my favorite watch in my collection. It’s the perfect size and the look is like a 1016 but also very different.

I love my Black/Gilt Falcon II! Everything about it is done very well. I think I like that version III better & definitely like the improvements made to the bracelet. I really like the acrylic crystal; it gives it a ton of character that is lacking on a flat-crystal watch.

@@adams1253 I think so. It’s very well done & the case has a nice chamfer that is as sharp as my BB58’s. It’s very comfortable because it’s so small & light.

Dang it's so good. Do a video of this vs the 4512 as the perfect everyday field watch from a microbrand under 1k! I already went for my 4512 but in the situation i was a year ago that comparison would have really helped me.

I have owned the Lorier Falcon 2 with the blue dial and it was a wonderful watch with a vintage vibe but I really like my 1974 Seiko Lord Marvel 36000 high beat model and it to is very accurate for a watch that is almost 50 years old. I prefer vintage because of the smaller sizes and a lot of bank for your buck.

I have the blue on white Neptune 3. Love that watch. I hope they release a new blue version. I might upgrade if they do. The only thing I wish they added was a otf micro adjust clasp.

I sold my Lorier Falcon 2. Times were hard. I regret it so much. Beautiful watch. So well made. +4 seconds per day. Excellent watch. Cannot get it again. Huge mistake.

Hi Leo…I like your channel…great review…I pre-ordered a Falcon 3 and very much look forward to getting it hopefully in May. In my Railmaster/Ranchero part 2 video I mentioned the FALCON 3 as the closest thing to a Ranchero-Railmaster hybrid. You and I have the same wrist size and I also have a 114270. Next to the Explorer, the Falcon’s dial looks a bit smaller. Does it make it look like a smaller watch on the wrist? Thank you

Feels a bit smaller because of the dial, you are on point but still feels amazing. The Falcon has something special in its design. The fit on my wrist and weight make it very easy to wear. I really like the waffle dial and hands Lorier uses and I appreciate the fact that it does not look like a direct copy, like a Smiths, let’s say. If you love your Explorer, you gonna really enjoy the Falcon’s vintage looks and feel. I salut you friend 🙋🏻‍♂️🍻

What do you think about cracks? I dropped my falcon3 and cracked the inner side of the crystal... abt less than a cm on the part where the crystal curves.. I feel like buying a new falcon3.. 😢 the crack can only be seen at an angle though if I look from the 6 oclock

Sent it back and have the crystal replaced. Can’t be that much. It if was sapphire it would’ve just shattered totally

Fabulous review, as always! I'm eying this one for quite some time, but I'm deciding between this and Smith's honeycomb dial. I like the oyster case shape and the riveted bracelet, but I also like a bit of originality and neo-vintage design in microbrands. Design-aside, I also have very thin wrists and I feel every mm in lug to lug matters - and Smiths seems more compact than Lorier. Since you've handed both watches, what would you choose in terms of quality and feel?

Thx brother. For me the Lorier would work better. More of a design choice. I like it more. The Smiths are awesome, don’t get me wrong, but you can really see a Rolex in it. 🙋🏻‍♂️🍷

Hi, I have the smiths everest gilt dial version and the lorier falcon 3.. my take is that the two watch wears and feel different. The falcon 3 wears slightly bigger and it wears more comfortable and closer on the wrist while the smiths wears more compact. The smiths feel more substantial/heavier with its high antimagnetism and the bracelet feels of higher quality. However, I am sticking with lorier as it just feels special with the acrylic.. also, I prefer the white indices on the lorier as compared to the light greenish tint indices on the smiths. So, I guess if you are leaning towards vintage style, then lorier falcon 3 is close to perfect.. Smiths will be the one to go for if you want a modern rolex alternative. Also, I feel that the lorier on its steel bracelet feels like an integrated bracelet kind of watch.

Leo, love your videos and attention to detail. You've had the opportunity to test both the Lorier Falcon III and the Islander Manhasset. Which one gives you the closest feel to your Explorer? Is the Lorier worth the increase in price over the Manhasset? Cheers.

Would Love to have it. Hope they open up a europe warehouse soon. The extrra 150 dollars import vat makes it just too epensive for what it is.

Great review! I'm just wondering whether the bracelet on Falcon 3 feels light and cheap. I currently own a seiko SNKL45, which is really a nice watch, however the bracelet comes with the watch isn't the best IMO. Now i'm looking into Falcon 3 and hoping this watch would be an upgrade.

Definitely an upgrade, the bracelet is amazing and if you have interest, in a few months Lorier will have the Epsilon bracelet available to purchase. It is on the new Astra, that bracelet is more of a Tudor Jubilee design and it is also amazing. 👌🏼

Nice review! The falcon 3 is what the new Tudor Ranger should have been. 👍🏼

Top notch Sir, much obliged for the review. Its really strange these watches are 36mm but the Rolex looks much bigger like a 38 or a 39mm. I'm really torn between this or the astra with the white dile.

I personally dislike that big arrowhead hour hand. Full dauphin handset would've made it better for me.

Falcon I: Too big Falcon II: Perfect Watch. Better Version of the Black Bay 36. Falcon III: Love it. Better Version of modern Explorers. Falcon IV: Hopefully the better version of the Omega Railmaster 1957? That will be hard to achieve though :D

I’ve got that watch. It’s OK, but not amazing. And its main weak point are the hands. They need better finishing, they are just stamped out.
