In Season Two of The Rings of Power, Sauron has returned. Cast out by Galadriel, without army or ally, the rising Dark Lord must now rely on his own cunning to rebuild his strength and oversee the creation of the Rings of Power, which will allow him to bind all the peoples of Middle-earth to his sinister will. Building on Season One’s epic scope and ambition, the new season plunges even its most beloved and vulnerable characters into a rising tide of darkness, challenging each to find their place in a world that is increasingly on the brink of calamity. Elves and dwarves, orcs and men, wizards and Harfoots… as friendships are strained and kingdoms begin to fracture, the forces of good will struggle ever more valiantly to hold on to what matters to them most of all… each other.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power brings to screens for the very first time the heroic legends of the fabled Second Age of Middle-earth's history. This epic drama is set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings books and will take viewers back to an era in which great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hung by the finest of threads, and the greatest villain that ever flowed from Tolkien’s pen threatened to cover all the world in darkness.

sauron looks more like a powerful ancient elf than any of the other elves in ROP. The actual elves in ROP look like those people who wanted to kill Bella's kid in twilight.

Actually, Galadriel is Sauron, obvious plot twist at the end of this season.
its not that the cgi or story isnt ok... its the characters just arent anything .. theres no character to the characters... just acting .. legolas,gimli aragorn + hobbits etc ... didnt feel like it was just acting its like it was a part of their life .. sounds dumb writing that .. but thats what puts me off this series everytime

The look and feel of this trailer had me expecting Rand al Thor to show up for a Wheel of Time crossover.

Only 37% of initial viewers finished Season 1. It was that bad. It's only getting a second season out of contractual obligations. It's just sad at this point
