Woww! One of the best design i've ever seen..congratz longines👏👏
Just picked this up from the Longines boutique in NYC. Beautiful watch. I have smaller wrists and it's not at all too big. Its square shape lends itself to wear smaller than it is. The matte dial is absolutely beautiful and the bracelet is more comfortable than any other Longines steel bracelet I've tried. Then of course the superior accuracy. Combined with the sapphire bezel - this is a winner.
Thanks for the video :)! Always love to see Longines getting some love ❤️

Too cool! Good to see Longines waking up and producing great watches once more. Spirit, Avigation BigEye, this - huh, 3 watch collection! The quality of these recent Longines is very good - I'd put them just ahead of Tudor for movements and finish. Good work w/ the channel, BTW...
This and the Zulu are the 2 best releases, this year of all brands

The legend diver, no date, cushion case for under $1750 is criminally underrated, stunning piece; the 120 bezel with cracker-crisp clicks alone is worth the money
Actually fall in love with this watch.
Simply stunning
I despise the design of hydro conquest, but this one? This one, I'm liking it, I need to try it on!
Fantastic watch this and the new Zulu time are my next watches to join my collection 😁👍

I actually really like the design of this watch. Longines are releasing some cool watches like this and the Zulu GMT. I'm still unsure if they would get wrist time over my SMP300 and Speedy which ultimately stops me from buying.

Good point mate. I have a smp300 in blue with the new ceramic dial and metas, plus a speedy mark ii. I’m going to pull the trigger as I got a 22% discount on it so it’s $AUD4280 which isn’t too bad. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺

One of my favourite releases this years. Longines have such a deep and wonderful history and archive! Definitely considering it for a milestone birthday next year…although going through a bit of a pilot watch phase currently 🤷♂️
The fact that there's NO numerals on the dial = perfect minimalism
underrated.
Great to have a comparison vid for this and the old and new Hydroconquests.

Let me get on it!
I have been saving for a new Omega Seamaster in black or green to join my blue ‘93 and white ‘00 … and then I saw this. This is so good looking I have to have one.
Longines is probably my favourite brand right now. No one has as many different pieces in different collections that I like. It's between Longines, Rolex and Breitling anyway for that spot. I mean Longines has some utterly stunning pieces like: The spirit titanium The spirit Zulu time (blue dial especially) The spirit chronograph (in blue on a blue strap) The big eye titanium The legend diver (regular, bronze and blue are my picks) The hydrconquest (on green rubber) The ultra chron And you can go on. They make so many great pieces it's just a matter of time before they go upmarket even more and even faster from demand alone. They will be where omega are now in no time if this keeps going.
Gorgeous watch. Also getting Vostok Amphibia vibe. 😅
I think a good comparison would be the Tudor Black Bay (58 or the bigger one). Their prices are similar, finishing and quality comparable, both have proprietary movements (Longines exclusive ETA, Kenissi), both vintage-inspired genre (albeit a decade apart historically), and both priced under the respective higher brands in their group (Omega and Rolex).

The Tudor BB ceramic would be a better comparison.
Arrrggghhhh!!!!!! Harrison, great vid as always BUT you finally made the same error SO many vloggers who review dive watches make!! The bezel has absolutely NOTHING to do with "timing oxygen" (or any other breathing gas!!!!) A submersible pressure gauge (SPG) shows the gas pressure of the cylinder in Bar. That is what shows how much gas is left! Also, divers very rarely breathe oxygen! We usually breathe either air, nitrox or trimix..... oxygen CAN be breathed but in very very shallow water and recreational divers dont do this....! Otherwise carry on making brilliant videos as always! 🙌🙌
This is a beautiful watch. I think it should have come with a black tropic strap.
The hour hand is hard to see in many lighting conditions. The seconds hand should be white or thicker to stand out and should also be lumed. All of the markers should be lumed not just 3, 6, 9 and 12. This watch has a great movement but it is not a proper dive watch.
Since they choose to ditch the date for a change from the original, i think they could have slimmed down the thickness too and i would probably buy it.
Will you ever revisit the hydroconquest now that Longines launched the 39mm in ceramic?. Best regards!
@ChisholmHunterOfficial
Жыл бұрын
I certainly can!
I think I'd rather see a comparison with something else in the same price range rather than the Hydroconquest. The polished clasp is a bit odd, but not a deal breaker to me. To me, the lume did not look that strong on most of the markers, aside from the 3/6/9/12. I wish ALL the markers had the same amount of lume as the previously mentioned positions. It is a dive watch after all. I know it's sort of a dressy diver, but dive watches should have a certain minimum standard when it comes to lume. That is even more critical in the price category. Other than that, the dial texture, phenomenal bezel, movement/certification are all great. I love the vintage design.
How does this wear compared to the Seamaster?
How about a comparison with the Longines Legend Diver and the Ultrachron? Actually talking of which we need a review of the legend diver in the new sand, blue, red and grey colours!

What is your size wrist ?
I think this review is a bit rushed - I'd like to have hesrd a bit more talk about the movement.
Please can we do a comparison between the Casino Royale Omega Seamaster Co-Axial 2220.80.00 and the No Time To Die Omega with the brown dial? Thank you. Love the content great channel for my watch porn 👌🏼
The best watch under 4K
This will eat the hydro conquests lunch
I would love the Ultra - Chron movement in the Spirit Titanium or the Ceramic HydroConquest. In my opinion they have a better design than this.
Why not do a comparison! Thanks
If you haven’t added a quartz to your collection….the Longines Conquest VHP is the most accurate mainstream watch available…+/- 5sec per year…and a very good value esp gray market

Pengen sekali punya jam tangan ini sangat memposana wow..
They could be loyal to the original in terms of size and create a great comfortable EVERYDAY WATCH, such a GO ANYWHERE, DO ANYTHING WATCH, BUT they create a 43mm and 186g charge on the wrist...🙆♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂. Here we can see the example of what becomes chunky and oversized when it was supposed to look vintage inspired...and, however, the crown gets now unprotected 🤦♂ About the price, well, it's a relatively high price, given the fact that the caliber is basically a big and tunned ETA 2824-2, nothing developed from scratch. So they are pricing the watch basing on the Hi-BEAT speciffication more than in the watch complication itself, and we can see this point in the fact that Longine's colunm-wheel chronos are cheaper in many cases, having a more complicated caliber more expensive to be produced. So, yes, in one side, they have chosen a wrong size on my humble point of view and, also, they are pricing basing on the heigh of the watch frequency......., not in the watch production costs or quality, and this will be a handicap at the moment to face the competition. For that price, there are BETTER CALIBERS, better and more modern calibers out there in better finished watches, and now this is not just my humble opinion, this is just the raw objetctive reality.
This watch belongs on Rubber or a suitably vintage (canvas?) NATO ... Don't think I would pay premium for that bracelet. Aftermarket straight-end-link bracelets might even look better too. Sharkmesh even maybe?
You sound like Bark and Jack
Doxa next video please 🙏
I believe Longine states +-2 seconds/day. Any real-world data on accuracy?

3600 USD for an ETA movement on a retro diver look that's a dime a dozen? 1k USD MAX, and that's saying something. Longines are delusional.
