The Lonely Master (Jimmer Fredette) vs Starbury (Stephon Marbury) Full Duel Highlights (10.11.17)

I apologize for the quality of the video though I still strongly believe that this one is worth your time. There's nothing I can do about it and the original source of the clip was a total disaster. The audio is completely off and sometimes faster, sometimes slower, but I somehow manage to extract the best of the game and adjust it to the right timeline here for you all. If I just posted the full game, people who understand bball and Mandarin would consider it a bad quality vid. I never do click bait shit to my viewers!
Shanghai is definitely my team! I love the atmosphere and the fans, also that DJ is a WHITE English man! He speaks fluent Chinese and Shanghai dialiect! This just shows how special Shanghai is! Look at that MacBook Pro man! LMAO!
This game was actually kind of rigged! That three pointer late in OT shouldn't even have been counted! It was a two-pointer at best! Not to mention that Jimmer traveled so bad before releasing the shot. Here in CBA they never called that stupid pivot foot travel LOL! Growing up that hop-off-the-same-feet move has always been a sick move we used to go by defenders, but man it's illegal now! What seems funny to me was the opposing team didn't even do nothing about the shot. They didn't even realize it! This shot could've changed the game, and Shanghai would've lost. This just shows how crazy the home-court advantage here in CBA is!
I subtracted that three from Jimmer's triple double stats in hope of doing even a little justice to the opposing team. He still made ten threes though.. Even his miraculous hop three-point floater should've been counted a travel in the nba.....
And last but not least, Marbury can still play I gotta give him some credit! That one block was on Jimmer, and what induced the kisses twice!!! Jimmer's wife Whitney is very white and blonde, white and blonde like a barbie!

  • @gideoncheung8731
    @gideoncheung87315 жыл бұрын

    From this and other CBA highlights, I think the the most significantly weaker aspects of their game versus European leagues and the NBA are the defensive intensity/scheme. Whenever Jimmer makes good bounce passes for the easy layup, the defense isn't there. It's not discombobulated; it just doesn't seem to exist. Also the intensity a lot of time were just nonexistent, for example 6:40 when Jimmer passed to the corner 3, the guy didn't even give it a go contesting. The guy just walked towards and that was it! From the numerous CBA highlights I've seen, apart from the Jimmer magic (he made some really high level shots and extremely long 3s) there was little defense played. I don't know if its the culture of the CBA games that they aren't used to Jimmer's relatively fast-paced game or something else, but the intensity is really really far behind the elite leagues. Another thing is the physicality. If Euroleague players are soft, I don't know where CBA stands. I remember watching Jimmer do a Kyrie-esque spin move to split the defenders (Kyrie did it last season against Milwaukee as the shot clock was about to expire, I think between Malcolm Brogdon and someone else), and while the move was very similar, the physicality wasn't there, and Jimmer just needed a good spin footwork to pull that off. He wasn't completely trapped like Kyrie was (by the pestering, and good defense of Brogdon); he didn't have to be all physical and 'escape' the hard defense. He just had to give it a go, and give it a go he did.

Crazy pull up threes , floaters, drives, mid range bankers, off balance madness. Just astounding.

    SmithN' Wesson No way could he play in the NBA anymore in any capacity. He wouldn’t even preform well in the g league. Just look at how dominant Jimmer is in the CBA and he was a liability in the NBA. Granted I think Jimmer has improved since he played in the NBA but I still don’t think he’d be much more than an 8th man in an NBA rotation. Stephon, on the other hand wouldn’t be able to play in the NBA in any shape or form.

Conclusion: Guards like Marbury won't make the NBA today. Today's NBA guards are on different level. The legends of yesterday will get destroyed by the more advanced athletes today.

    Let Me Get Uhhh that's probably true lol. Does he get more than vet minimum? Plus, in China, he looks like Steph and he'd be lucky to make a rotation here. It's kinda sad, though, cuz he can shoot the lights out, but he's undersized at 2 and an under-skilled point... and he's a bit of a hologram on D. When he's focused and his shots are falling, he can REALLY score (3 point runners in game?!) So maybe he can put it all together and make it back to the league, but until then, he'll be stuck making tons of money for playing hoops, banging gorgeous women, and being a basketball God in China... poor fella 😢😉 B-Easy really revamped his game in China, though, so it's possible!

    Well I will hit you with one. My wife is black and I played college basketball and I recieved a scholarship to play at Cardinal Stritch University. It wasnt the university of Colorado, but I know how to play basketball. I was a 6'5 point guard and I was very athletic, but I had people discriminate against me being a white athletic player. I was a good athlete and they were the one's always attaching white to everthing I did. Being married to a black woman I recieved so much hate from almost everyone. When 9/11 happened, I dropped everything and decided I had to fight for my country and I never looked back. I was apart of one of the most prestigious units in all of the military. The 82nd Airborne Infantry. I also managed to finish school and achieve it all.

    oliver empleo I think these group of people are part of the security personnel, not responsible for terrorists but responsible for fights, throwing stuffs, etc. You can see a word "TEBAO" on their back, which is different from "TEQIN" or"TEJING". These three all wear black uniforms but they are totally different. The first one is owned by companies, while the second is part of the police and the third is also part of the police but deal with more intense situations I think. Good question! Hope this helps. By the way, Luis Scola is one of my favourite players!
