What are some tips and tricks that help speed up your video editing workflow?!?

This mouse is amazing!! I love it! You should look into the different gesture movements you can program to unlock even more shortcuts!

I was thinking about that and making an updated version for use in davinci with more movements! I dont think I’ll EVER go back to an apple mouse lol

I can’t not use it anymore! Those cut and pointer buttons are imperative

Thanks a lot for this! I don't know if you're still reading these... but I can't figure out how to set my main wheel (top) to do the zoom in/out to timeline. Only option it has is to set it up as a wheel BUTTON (but not as a wheel... :( - could you help? Using Logi Options+ (newer version since I have 3S version). Thanks in advance!

I do still read these (strange to hear that comment) I am so used to writing that comment myself lol but yeah I do have an issue setting that top scroll wheel to things, so it’s one that I dont use “until i figure it out a way”

Hey Tiberius. New video editor here. Photographer for a long time now, wanting to specialize more in videos, producing, capture and editing. I've always liked Lightworks video editor, but i can't make this wonderful mouse, mice, whichever way you wanna call it, work with this program. Do you, (if yes, luckily for me) happen to know why?

I dont think it works for that program, in the software it has selected programs! Sometimes you can get away with assigning it to keyboard shortcuts that you assign in the software!

@@TiberiousGreene hey mate! I've forgot tho leave a reply here. It works, but the "program" that must be selected in the archives were programs are installed, Isn't the Lightworks.exe, because this is the start app for the program. The one we have to select, is the .ini if I'm not mistaken, don't remember the nomenclature itself. But it works!

i thought this video was really old af when you said the apple magic mouse needed AA batteries. but then i saw "5 months ago". magic mouse has been rechargeable for quite a while now (usb-c). however, if it's attached and charging, you can't use the mouse as the usb-c port is underneath. stupid, right?

Yeah the iMac I had was from 2017.. so I didn’t know about that one yet but yeah you’re right! The underneath charge port is dumb.. this one the charge port is in the front so you can use it while charging

is there an option to add a function to the top scroller?

There is but I dont use it I haven’t found use for it yet? Being a vertical scroll

I believe so! When you open the software, you choose the programs you can set up

Why would you want to hold a bottle In your hand for the entirety of video editing process, well how do you jump to previous cut ✂️ I'm guessing you are still using the arrow keys because with a heavy mouse like that it must be a lot of drag. Great video though 👌

I am saying in a sense like having two buttons for selector and cut, and the button on the bottom is for play/spacebar so I can cut select play with the mouse and have a drink at the same time… not literally holding a drink the whole time I am editing lol
