same issue in 2019 had it for years, when I press the bottom of front facing camera a thin line apart.

Ive had my Samsung Galaxy s6 edge for a year and a half and it still works great.

Mine only shows up when I press the UN part of the Samsung logo on the front

I have the same prblm the same place of these pink lines that makes me crasy

My S6 Edge Plus has this. Except my lines are super thin, like 1 pixel. At first, I could press top if screen and it'd go away fir a bit. Now when I press, a few more pink lines appear and it often doesn't go away. Takes several att but seems to be getting worse. Wirth noting, my screen was replaced a few months back. Never had the pink lines before

I have the same problem but mine is even worse I can't even see my phone home screen at first for like a week it was black and it is known as the black screen of death and now it just shows a lot of vertical lines and stuff like that

Try replacing the whole screen And if youre not confident enough to do it urself try going to smartphone repair shop. Hope it helps!

Mines got, like, 5 lines, when i push hard they go away, so this fix should work for me. Ill give it a go in a week or so, and upload a video of the process

I cracked my s7 edge in to my dads car door and at the first i got an black dot in to the crack.After some time i noticed that the black dot was becoming bigger and than one green line came on and than it switched into an pink line.Now 5% of my screen is covered from the black dot and when i open an video which has really dark colors the black color it displays it as pink too.I downloaded an color stabiliser and it fixed that but the thing that it turns all black and the touch is still working makes me mad.It happens every 2-3 minutes and i hate it

This happens to my Galaxy S5.. not the line but everything else. The phone not displaying anything but touch still works, phone dies at 26- 37% and when it's plugged in it jumps to 89%.. weird.

Mine does not do weird things but it has 1 line on the edge that makes my s8 look ugly.

I think this is caused because of heat, when the phone stays hot for long periods of time it reduces the glue's stickiness that keeps the screen bound with the phone like when the phone is brand new there is no flex but now as you put some pressure it positions correctly maybe when replacing the screen putting a stronger glue will might help? I don't really have much knowledge about it but I do want to find a proper way to prevent it in future I had screen replacement and the phone didn't lasted more than 6 months before this problem started appearing again and now i'm looking forward to replace the screen again but I don't want to experience this issue again and For some extra smart ass people with their smart ass suggestions they should stay away I have this phone for a reason and I got many but I like to have this phone as well so I want to keep it and I did a lot of things on it some of the most coolest things you can possibly do. This can definitely be fixed but we have to look for a proper thing

Same here. First got small line on right side on the edged screen, so it didnt bothered me. And few months later, now i have pink line looking almoust same as hes is. And when i press the phone with finger on logo of the samsung (near front camera) its kinda going away, but need to press real hard... I really like this phone, but this is just shit. Thing that he did, acctualy help some phones, but im not good at that, so i wont play around. EDIT: After all that they expanded even more and green lines showd up as well, all still worked untill one morning when someone called me and screen was black, i can hear stuff and touch still works but black screen... S6 edge R.I.P.

Mostly the edges and the actives. I really don't think Samsung is making much deal about it. I have noticed that the issue is rare on the Galaxy s8.

I have a small pink line ... in the same place ... i watched the video and i pressed on the screen right under and on the "Samsung" logo , and now the line had vanished ... i will post if it will appear again :D

Mine is near the power button

i did the same to an s6 edge with the same problem..it can help for one or 2 days (it reduces the lines without actually fixing it) but after it will destroy the display even more rapidly this problem is caused by the soldering between the flex cable and the actual oled display...

It might be 2 things, the cable connection between the display and motherboard (the cable might be loose). Or the screen itself is damaged in the top of or bottom of the screen that might explain why when he put pressure the lines they changed or disappeared. That means that there is no connection in some part of the screen between the layers. It also matters what happened to the phone before those lines appeared. Water, dust , drop, bend or overhead.

I have s6 edge from 2017 and i don't have that problem.

Main culprit in this issue is tiny capacitor . Change the fault capacitor with the help of SMD station. And the line will vanish .

Remember that some of these phones were having these issues out of the box.
