I grew in South Jersey just over the bridge from Philly and moved to New Orleans 11 years ago. Hearing the Action News jingle on your TV at the end felt so right. Make sure you get to the shore this summer!!! And eat a cheesesteak at Jim's and go to Sarcones bakery for the best bread in the whole world. Get a roast pork sandwich at the Redding Terminal Market and some Amish donuts!

Oh my! How you make me miss my Flight Attendant days! I flew for US Air.... that tells you how many years ago that was. The last time I flew through Philly with my crew, we had a plane break and had to stay the night there in Philly. On that night was a major blackout in the city! it was so bizarre being in such a dark hotel room that would normally have had a beautiful view but when I looked out the window it was so strange looking onto a dark city! I'll always miss flying! Love your vlogs, Carrie! 💙✈💋

Lol! Y’all are so funny! Brings back memories of fun, care free days when I was a new stew. That seems like forever ago! (30+ yrs) I went up front to the cockpit years ago and must say that I really miss my coworkers from the back! That was a smart move for you and Chance, moving to base. I commuted for years and it is way more stress than you need! It will turn you against the job. I love your energy! I wish we worked for the same airline! Btw, I don’t recall any incident in PHL. I currently live in FL and have been applying like crazy for the position but only thing is they’re all based out of locations that are in different states. The Southwest airplane accident happened April 17th. It was flying from NY to Dallas and made an emergency landing in philly. One died and 7 injured onboard. They took the damaged airplane into a hangar for investigation reasons under FAA. Why would it be on the tarmac again a month later? Unless there was another more recent accident but I haven’t heard anything since April 17th.

Does the charger in the Away luggage come out? Like is it removable? I fly American and I've been looking for new luggage, but they don't let you use bags that have chargers that aren't removable.

Savannah Carlon Yes, the chargers on the newer Away bags are easily removable. (The first generation ones did have removable chargers, but you had to have a screwdriver.) It's my understanding that chargers only have to be removed if the bag is being checked. They can stay on if you're carrying your bag on the plane.

Was your training paid? Do they pay for lodging?

Hi Carrie ann I’m so happy for you and you look great !! I’m also a flight attendant and in the airline I work for I feel like I get bullied a lot for being young and new and today I was crying onboard trying to hide from passengers because the senior told me how my tan looked so fake and how the airline should ban it and then another ccm agreed with her and pulled up my hand and said yea and look at your nails which are nude shellac just done while neither of them had any varnish or makeup on and hair grooming was awful I felt so attacked and I feel like there’s always something I do wrong have you ever experienced any kind of bullying in the airline industry ? I just think it’s so hard when your stuck up there with nowhere to go😭😭

Amber I am so sorry that you are being treated like that, I personally havent experienced anything like this yet. If anyone is ever putting you down or you feel like you're being attacked always remember that 1) they are probably just jealous of how beautiful and put together you are. 2) people who attack others usually have something going on in their lives, and even though it isn't okay, they are probably taking their anger/pain out on you 3) it sucks but who cares about the opinions of someone like that, as long as your happy with yourself everyone else can go shove it where the sun don't shine. It's hard to stay positive if this sort of thing is happening to you, but don't give them the satisfaction of letting them know their words are affecting you, kill them with kindness girlfriend and hope you don't fly with them ever again!

H Kr most hotels in the US have an iron and an ironing board in every room. They also offer a safe to put your valuables in and a hairdryer to blow dry your hair.

Thank you, I've never been to the US. In my (somewhat limited) experience in Europe all hotel rooms had a blow dryer, safes were about 50/50.

Lots of European hotel rooms I've stayed in had an iron and an ironing board hiding somewhere in the hotel room's closet. Maybe it's more common in more expensive hotels over here? I've never used it though, I'm way too lazy! 😄

They are everywhere, never seen anyone use it until now though! I used to just hang my uniform on the desk chair, but then maybe it is a different material and we had free dry cleaning in our building so never bothered (cabin crew building, one of the perks).

It’s a flight where an airline employee flies on the plane to get to a location for work I looked it up on google

I couldn’t do it I just live in the hotel for 2yrs then one day I was driving pass a building and I fell in love with it; fill out an application and approve the next day. Apartment hunting is a headache; I fly way too much and that welfare check wasn’t going to cut it. Lies he tell CS is a headache😫😫😫thank the lord I am a lone holder now don’t hear for them anymore.
